The music hummed in Eva’s ears. The soothing sound of the piano relaxed her as she read her book. She was completely cut off from the real world and was totally immersed in her book.
Although Eva would usually stay alert, for some reason she felt like she could be at ease. Maybe it was because she was with Alana. She felt safe and secure. She had no need to fear anyone or anything.
That was until someone tapped her shoulder and made her jump out of her skin.
She roughly pulled her earphones from her ears and closed her book.
”Can I help you?” Eva questioned as she sat up and listened for who was around her.
”Sorry I didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to come and say H
| At The Castle |”His Highness will see you in just a moment.” One of the castle workers spoke as he led everyone into a large office.Alexandrov thanked the man as he excused himself and left all three of them alone.”What do you think he’ll be like?” Alana questioned as she helped Eva to her seat.”Alana, I beg of you please behave.” Alexandrov warned.”Daddy, I always behave.” Alana smirked.Alexandrov and Alana both took a seat and waited for the King to show up.”You are awfully quiet” Alana spoke up as she glanced at Eva.&
”So what happened?” Alana questioned with a smirk. ”We just talked. I told him what was going on. He will decide what happens next.” Eva mumbled as she met up with Alexandrov and Alana. The three of them decided to head back to the hotel and leave the decision up to the King. | 2 Days Later | ”Eva! How was your trip?” Misty smiled as her daughter climbed out of the SUV. ”Hey Mom, it was okay.” Eva smiled as the smell of home filled her senses. Misty pulled Eva in for a hug and smiled brightly. She had missed her baby girl. Eva returned her hug with as much vigor as she could muster. ”Have you eaten? The ladies in the kitchen can prepare something for you.” ”Can you have them send it up to my room? I'm really tired” Eva smiled softly as she once again hugged her mother and walked to her room. ”Sure thing.” Misty whispered as she knew her daughter was once again going to shut herself away in her room. | At The Vampire Castle | “You called for me your highness?” The private In
“Eva? Are you in here?” Samael questioned as he hesitantly walked into the silent library. The book that Eva had dropped at the hotel was now in his hands. “In here” Eva shouted as she continued to read her book. Samael walked to the back of the library. He admired the rows and rows filled with books. Surprised that so many Braille books existed in one place.“Alana said I would find you here.” Sam smiled as he took a seat next to Eva on the windowsill. “Yeah, this is my sanctuary. I spend most of my time here.” Eva muttered as her fingers continued to slide across the book. “I figured when I saw you down by the pool at the hotel.” Sam smiled as looked at the book in his hands. “Were you watching me?” Eva questioned as her fingers came to a halt and a small smile formed on her face. “What? No… of course not. I simply glanced your way when I walked in that day. Actually, I came looking for you because you dropped this that day.” Sam muttered shyly. Samael softly grabbed Eva’s ha
Eva stormed out of the room and hurried to the training room. She had to let off some steam and maybe some sexual frustration. All her body wanted her to do was go back into the Prince’s room and finish the make-out session. Eva was sure that if no one had interrupted they would have ended up going all the way. Eva’s body was still buzzing with the remaining sparks that Samael caused. As Eva took in a deep breath she sighed as she tried to walk back and forth in the room. Luckily for her, she was alone. Today everyone was training outside. Indoor training was rarely used. Only when it rained did the warriors use it. Eva felt around until she came into contact with a punching bag. Although Eva had a good memory the training room was oftentimes rearranged and she almost always had to feel around for what she wanted. Eva felt around for gloves. When she found them she placed them on and walked back to where she remembered where the punching bag was. She then let off steam. After ar
| Vampire Castle 2 Days Prior | “Good evening your majesty,” Ezra spoke over the phone. The King was currently in his office trying to get an update on what had happened so far. “Good Evening Ezra. What can you tell me?” “Your suspicions were right. She is Eva Kora. She had her name changed when she joined the pack but she is the Mad King's daughter.” “I see.” The King chuckled. “Stay with the Prince. Make sure he doesn’t get hurt and make sure you tell no one what you found out. After all, we have to protect my son’s beloved.” The King ordered. “Actually your Majesty. Two days from now the Prince will be attacked by the Pack Beta.” “Eva’s adoptive father?” “Yes sir” “Oh, this is just delicious.” The King laughed as he sat back in his chair. “Did the vision show you why?” The King questioned with a smile. “Apparently His highness kissed Miss Eva and Beta Stone saw them. He lost control. Should I interfere?” Ezra questioned reluctantly. “Oh heavens no. Actually, I think I
| Eva’s Library | ”Eva? Baby are you here?” Samael questioned as he walked inside Eva’s library. Eva didn't say a word. She simply sat at the windowsill without moving a muscle. Samael walked in and watched as Eva sat like a statue. It seemed the talk with his father had caused turmoil in Eva. A couple of days passed but Eva didn’t say a word. She simply sat and thought about her options. At this point, Samael didn’t care what she chose as long as she talked to him. “Eva?” Misty whispered as she looked at her daughter. Prince Samael had gone looking for Misty to see if she could cheer Eva up. He was worried about her. Vampires were known to go days without food or sleep but he still worried about his beloved. “Eva?” Misty repeated. Misty has never seen Eva like this. Even when the news reached them that Eva’s parents had been killed she was sad sure but never to this extent. Samael watched as a single tear rolled down Eva’s cheek. The tear reminded him that she was, in fact,
Samael smiled as Eva’s arousal filled the room. He was glad she wanted him just as much as he wanted her. He kissed her lips softly at first. He wanted them to make love to celebrate this amazing news. Eva’s hands softly gripped Sam’s neck. She pulled him closer and deepened the kiss. Love filled her heart and she wanted to make him feel her love for him. Sam smiled as he continued to kiss his beloved. He slowly started to undress Eva. Determined to not break the kiss. Eva gripped the back of Samael’s shirt and tugged at it. For a split second, they pulled away so he could slide his shirt off over his head. Samael helped Eva slip out of her dress and watched her like a hawk. He engraved every inch of her body into his mind. All of her curves were melted into his brain. Samael had never wanted a woman as much as he wanted Eva at that very moment. Her breasts were hidden behind the black lace bra that matched the bottom portion. His mouth watered at the thought of tasting Eva. Eva
The next morning the sun rose on the sleeping couple. Samael was sound asleep sprawled out on his bed while a sleeping Eva lay completely on his chest. Although Vampires were creatures of little to no sleep. Both Eva and Samael were extremely tired from their fun-filled night. Through a crack in the curtains the sunlight came in and shone and Samael’s face. He scowled a bit and was soon awake. He turned his head to find a sleeping Eva still on his chest. He smiled when he remembered after she rode him last night he refused to let her get off. Eventually, she stopped arguing and ended up falling asleep. Which soon led his eyes to get heavy and fall asleep as well. Sam kissed the top of Eva’s head and slowly rolled her off his chest. As she slid off him and onto the mattress Eva shuddered at the cold air and instinctively cuddled closer to him searching for his body heat. Samael smiled like a lunatic at her instinct to search for him in her sleep. He laid on his side and pulled he
Eva Led Alana into an empty room. “Eva, what’s going on?” Alana questioned in worry. “There was an attack. It looks like wolves attacked a town nearby, Eva explained. “That's impossible, evenRogues follow the rules of the treaty.” “We managed to kill one, but the others got away. A couple of vampire families were harmed. A baby was orphaned but mostly the damage was materialistic.” Eva sighed as she felt around for a chair. When her hands came into contact with a plush comforter, she realized it was a bed.Eva had become accustomed to the castle but still had many rooms that she was unfamiliar with. Just like the one she was currently in with Alana. “Eva, have you thought about doing a mating ritual with Samael? To get your vision?” Alana questioned as she took a seat next to her beloved best friend. “Initially we did, but honestly, I’m fine with being blind. I can be a queen and a good ruler even if I don’t have my vision. I have a beloved who loves me for me. Just as I am”“I
As the ball continued Sam and Eva greeted the guests. Everyone addressed King Sam and Queen Eva with respect. Eva couldn't get accustomed to all the formalities that came with being a royal. In many situations, she wanted to be informal but feared being frowned upon by the other high-status vampires. Sam quickly noticed the change in his beloved. Fearing that she would be overwhelmed he pulled her outside for a breath of fresh air. “How is my Queen holding up?” Sam teased as he pulled Eva to him. “Honestly, it's a bit overwhelming” mumbled Eva. At times like these she wished she was still at the pack house with her family. Sam placed a gentle kiss on Eva's forehead as reassurance and embraced her. Eva took in a deep breath and sighed in bliss. Being close to Sam calmed her nerves and eased any tension she had. The night sky above the happy couple shined with multiple bright stars. All was well in the world at this precise moment as the pair enjoyed each other’s embrace. That
The sound of music fills the ballroom as the musicians practice their songs. The servants are finishing up the preparations for the upcoming ball. The tables are covered with golden tablecloths. Porcelain plates and expensive glasses are placed on the multiple round tables. In another room, Eva is being pampered and worked on. Her maids are fixing her hair and doing her makeup as they prepare her for the ball of the year. “Are you excited, your majesty? This will be the first ball you attend as queen of the Vampires ”, a maid comments as she continues to place polish on Eva’s nails. “I would rather fight in another war,” Eva mumbles as she chews the inside of her cheek. The nerves are getting the best of her at this moment. The maid simply chuckles. “This is a different kind of battlefield.” Another maid chirps up as she continues to brush Eva’s hair. Eva takes another deep breath and tries to calm her racing heart. Samael walks back and forth as an attendant hurriedly tries to
A week had passed since Eva had moved to the Vampire Castle. Life was pretty good, and she was a quick study. Thankfully her Queen duties were reasonably similar to that of her beta duties. Sam quickly started to learn his requirements as the next King. King Zane was relaxing in his chambers when his beloved walked in with a grin plastered on her face. "She knows how to do everything!" The Vampire queen shouted with happiness. "Everything we teach her she learns in a matter of days!" The Queen continued with praise. "Samael is going to be the best King our race has ever had!" She shouted with glee."Excuse me, ma'am, but I am right here." King Zane huffed as he watched his beloved smile. "You know what I mean," The Queen chuckled."Although she is blind, she is brilliant and adapts rather quickly to anything we throw at her; I honestly feel our son lacks next to Eva," The Queen mumbled."Samael got lucky; she is an excellent match for him," The King agreed as he sat on his bed.
Samael smiled as he softly placed Eva on his bed. Being with his beloved pleased him, more than anything in the world. Being close to Eva made him invincible. Eva slowly shuffled around and a small smile formed on her face as she cuddled into the bed. Sam didn’t realize how much he missed his Beloved. He never wanted to feel that helpless ever in his life. He pulled Eva closer to him and she snuggled into him. Both vampires are in a state of constant contentment. Eva’s eyes fluttered closed and Samael smiled as he too was able to finally relax. Pretty soon the day would come that he would take her back to his kingdom and he would succeed the throne with his beloved by his side.Samael placed gentle kisses on Eva’s temple until sleep eventually came. The next morning came and both vampires were fully asleep. Alana lightly knocked on the bedroom door. When she didn’t receive an answer she decided to return at a later time. Alana sighed and headed to the training room to start her wor
From a distance, Samael could hear people speaking. He couldn’t make out what they were saying but if he focused enough he could hear them draw closer and closer. Samael was in complete darkness. His mind was still hazy and he didn’t know where he was. One thing he did know was that the last thing he remembers was running into Alpha Vasiliev. They had won the war and Eva was back in his arms. His relaxed state was short-lived when thoughts of Eva popped up. His heart began to pound harder and faster. Where was his beloved? Was she still safe? Samael tried everything he could to completely wake up. He yelled and yelled into the darkness but nothing happened. He struggled to move his body but nothing was obeying him. Samael tried for what seemed like hours, yet his situation had not changed. The more time he spent in the darkness the more he worried about Eva. He worried about her condition and if she was being helped. After everything they had gone through he could not let he
Samael watched as his beloved lay in the hospital bed. Her eyes were closed, and she looked peaceful. Sam was hurting, but he couldn’t muster up the courage to move from Eva’s side. Nurses came into the room and helped him as much as they could.Samael refused to be injected with anything that would make him drowsy. He had an eerie sensation and felt that if he were to leave Eva’s side for just a moment, something terrible would happen to her. As the days passed, Eva made no sign of waking up. The more time she spent sleeping, the more the Prince’s health deteriorated. It wasn’t until a week later that Eva finally opened her eyes. Samael clenched her hand as he softly snored. Sleep had caught up with him, and he finally had to get some rest. Eva gently moved her head from side to side. She was now awake, but she was still in the familiar darkness. “Sam?” Eva called out gently. The soft whisper of his name jolted the sleeping vampire from his nap. “I’m here, baby.” Sam quickly rep
Eva suddenly jolted awake. She felt her arms had been chained to something that felt like a bed. She tugged at her restraints but to no avail. The door to the room she was in opened and in walked Martin with a huge smug look on his face. Eva desperately tried to break free but she couldn’t. “You refused to be my concubine. Now you’ll be my whore.” Martin smiled as he gripped one of Eva’s ankles and pulled her body flat on the bed. Eva struggled but she couldn’t break free. Martin quickly tied her foot to the post of the bed and grabbed her other foot. Effectively tying it to the other post. Eva struggled and struggled but was unable to get free. The anxiety in her body started to rise as she felt more and more helpless against Martin. Even with all the struggling she was doing her body still hummed with excitement when she felt Martin touch her leg. She hated the fact that his hands were on her but she couldn’t help her body. “I am going to make you beg my name” Martin smirked a
Eva sighed and stretched as she stood from her seat and walked out of the plane with the help of her cane. Samael walked behind her with their suitcases. The King and Alana walked out of the plane behind the happy couple and at last, came Calvin. Who was struggling with his bag and a handful of snacks he had taken from the plane’s snack bar. Once everyone was out of the plane they climbed into a waiting black SUV that King Cole had sent himself. As Eva and Samael climbed into a car Samael grabbed Eva’s hand in a loving and reassuring way. Eva took a deep breath and tried to steady her heartbeat. “Relax baby, everything will be alright.” Alana and Calvin climbed into the car as well while the King climbed into another SUV by himself. Samael’s thumb ran over Eva’s knuckles calming the racing heartbeat of his beloved. Eva stayed quiet the rest of the way. No words were spoken. The car was only filled with the noise of incessant chewing coming from Calvin. Samael and Alana shot Cal
