25. Johan's Defeat

Edward did not care about what Johan said. He was more focused on healing Sicily. The woman seemed to growl softly, Edward gently stroked the top of her head.

"Edward, how did you know I was here?" Sicily asked stammeringly.

Edward just stared silently at Sicily's bright blue bead, as the woman's thin lips tried to smile to keep her man from worrying.

"I'm fine, don't think about it!"

With great difficulty, Sicily reassured him of her condition. However, the truth was that her body had been deeply wounded and it could be felt by Edward.

The man did not make much of a sound as his hand continued to press on the spot where Johan's death blow had come from.

Edward's breathing quickened as he realised how deep the wound his woman had received.

"You must accept the consequences of my woman's injury, Johan!"

"What is your identity that you dare to say such a thing, Cursed Wolf?"
