13. , Moon Goodness

Days have passed, and years have passed. Sicily has been able to utilize all her senses to the fullest.

Now she was in the wilderness, heading to the top of the hill where Moon Goodnes was. Her steps were steady, like those of a woman with perfect eyesight.

Since four full moons ago, Sicily had been able to adapt all her senses into eyes for her until Rebecca finally gave her permission to leave the castle.

"I must succeed."

Sicily's frail body continued to walk down the path until her steps were halted by the distinct scent in front of her.

"Hey blind girl, where are you going?"

A familiar voice greeted her sense of hearing. Sicily paused.

"Have you forgotten me?"

Sicily was still silent, her brain spinning as she tried to remember the voice. She heard footsteps approaching, and Sicily backed away. The wind moved unusually, making Sicily retreat again.

"Stop right there, Rongue Bastian!"

Bastian laughed out loud, getting closer as he stared.
