“C’mon you must have suspected it,” Jack said with an indifferent look.

“I grew up in a Serbian family who did nothing but take care of the problems no one else wanted to. My father raised me himself to be a cold-blooded killer and when he sent me away to boarding school, things got worse. The other families decided to go after my family because they heard I was away and they managed to abduct my sister.”

“Sheila?” I muttered, still shaking in my boots.

Shaking his head, Jack walked towards where Luke was hiding and immediately the man saw him approaching, he took off and started running as fast as he could.

Jack pulled out his gun and aimed it in Luke’s direction, and fired. I closed my eyes when he pulled the trigger and only knew he hit his target when I heard Luke’s distant scream.

Shock and fear flowed through my body like a raging river. Not only had he killed people, but he was also ruthless in doing so, and to top it off, an assassin.
