Rosalyn's Pov

During our talk, Iris suddenly spoke up. "Let's go to a club".

All of my tiredness has vanished. "Where," I asked without skipping a heartbeat.

"A new club opened up called NA. It is known for its exclusivity and luxury. meaning the one who usually enters its door are celebrities or high-profile individuals. Membership is by invitation only, I have gotten a hang of two tickets do you want to go?"

She asked with so much excitement that I didn't have the heart to say no moreover I kind of wanted to go. I have spent so much time inside the house locked up trying to please Anthony and taking care of his needs. I have been spending life for a long time and forgot how to live it in the meantime.

"Ok, I will come" I jumped up and clapped her hand in excitement.

"But let's go to my house first I want to change into something else this suit is so uncomfortable I am itchy I am sure if I wear it longer it is going to give me a rash."

We took my car and left Iris's car in the Cafe's parking. She called someone to come pick it up.

I looked at my wardrobe and took out a dress that had been sitting in my closet for a year. Memories flash in my mind when I bought this for my trip with Anthony but never got a chance to wear it.

The reason is Chanel's sudden arrival into the country and she crashed our vacation, Anthony ditched me and went with Chanel. That is how our trip was cut short.

I took it out and put it on the bed. It is a knee-length white dress with a modest neckline, the back is see-through and is covered by a lace. I took a shower and put it on. I looked at myself in the mirror, my breath hitched and for the first time in a year, I felt beautiful. The reflection looking back at my is confident, I know my worth.

I went out of the room and Iris looked up from her phone and her eyes bulged open.

"Girl you look breathtaking. Boys are going to fall when they see you and I heard celebrities come here to relax and socialize. Imagine we run into Harry Styles I am going to have a heart attack. Let's go."

She started blabbering and got up pulling me with her. Her excitement is making me laugh. That is the thing I love about Iris she always gets excited about little stuff.

Iris has been talking to me for hours straight. She feels so content seeing me happy. The glint that was got lost after getting married to Anthony is now back. She couldn't believe her eyes when she got call a back from me.

Now we are in the middle of the club. Everything is so glamorous. The music is just the way I likes it. I turned towards Iris.

"Are you thinking what I am thinking?"

"Yes let's go to the dance floor."

We were just about to hop on the floor when we were stopped by someone. We look up to see it is no one other than Anthony's friend Liam.

"Where are you going so fast?"

He cockily asked. Liam is here which means Chanel and Anthony are here too, my mood instantly turned sour. I was looking forward to this night. I don't want any drama.

"None of your business get out from our away!"

I shouted over the loud noise in the club dimming my voice. But he refused to budge.

My gaze fell upon Anthony and Chanel both over each other busy shoving their tongue in each other's throats. Iris followed my gaze and her mouth formed an O.

I can hear Liam and Anthony's friend snickering in the background. They never liked me, they never leave a single chance to embarr*ss or humiliate me. Liam once called me "affection sl*t" on my face.

Anthony's friend Alex came up to me,

"Mrs.Reish, don't you have some household chores to do?"

Another person spoke up cutting Alex in the middle " Mrs. Reish this is not an occasion full-time house housewife to come. Go back to your kitchen. As they say, a good housewife looks good in the house only."

Tears are threatening to fall out of my eyes but they are in. Iris squeezed my hand to *ssure me. I feel so grateful for her presence here. I'm sure I would have broken it on my own.

If Anthony's friends weren't enough I see Chanel coming towards me. By her smirk, I'm sure that she is coming to mess with me. She hugged me like she is meeting her long-lost friend.

"How are you, Rosalyn? What are you doing here?"

She said with fake enthusiasm while holding Anthony's hand tightly to show off but I refused to react. My facial expressions remained the same.

Anthony's Pov

So she finally admitted her mistake. Took her long enough, better late than never. I am waiting for her to apologize. I held on to Chanel tightening because I know it is going to anger her but contrary to what I thought she didn't show a single emotion.

So she is planning on feigning ignorance. Two can play this game. How long can she keep up these acts of her? She is going to break character sometimes.

She should be grateful to me for everything. I know she helped my company during bad times but I returned her 10 times the profit. She acts like she did it out of the goodness of her heart. Her innocent persona can't fool me, I know what sort of person lurks beneath.

I still haven't wrapped my head around the fact that she asked for a divorce. She has always known about my infatuation with Chanel so that can't be the reason for her sudden decision on divorcing me. I never hid Chanel from her. I wanted to divorce her but never in a million years thought that she is going to be the one to initiate it. Seems like I have underestimated her. I am not going to divorce her now because she wants to. We are going to divorce but on my terms not hers.

I have been in a bad mood since Rosalyn slapped me in the parking lot. Although the slap itself didn't hurt at all but it bruised my ego. Chanel noticed me sulking and proposed we should go out. At first, I refused but her constant persistence forced me to agree.

Seems like fate is not on my side today, Because I ran into Rosalyn, the last person I want to see right now in the world. What is she doing here by the way? She still hasn't apologized and she doesn't seem to in be the mood to do so. Rosalyn never liked bars, she refused to go each time saying she hates such places.

I remember how Rosalyn used to stay up all night waiting for me whenever I go out to party. But she has changed. The change happened overnight. She no longer seeks my affection and to top it off she has filed a divorce.

Chanel approached Rosalyn, presumably to talk to her about something important. It is clear that Rosalyn is upset about something, and Chanel is trying her best to calm her down.

Rosalyn's Pov

Chanel told me that Anthony loves her very much and does not like to see them apart, they want to spend their lives together.

I continued listening to Chanel, but then suddenly raised my hand slaps Chanel in the face. My patience has reached its limit.

"You are a viper, a snake! Don't act innocent I know you are trying to confuse me. Use these tricks on Anthony who falls for it not me."

I let out all the anger which was bulbing up inside me.

At this point, Anthony rushed to Chanel's side. He was about to hit me when a man appeared in his vision blocking me from his sight, holding Anthony's palm hanging in mid-air.
