I drummed my fingers impatiently on the desk as I waited for the officers to return with Sandra. I needed to speak with her before thinking about my next action.

It was unbelievable that she would send her baby daddy to my house to take Jason without informing me. I found it disrespectful and unacceptable.

After waiting for what felt like an eternity, Sandra finally walked through the door, accompanied by two police officers.

I watched her as she walked towards me with handcuffs in her hands and settled on the chair opposite me. “How are you doing?” I asked, feeling a slight bit of sympathy for her.
