Catherine’s POV

I hummed happily to myself as Alessandro and I walked through a garden.

Today was our last day of vacation, and I was more than excited at the prospect of seeing Leo and Liam after two long weeks.

Sure, my stay in Barbados had been nothing short of fun and adventures, including multiple sexcapades, but I had truly missed my babies.

The pleasant scent of dahlias tinged with that of ixoras, pride of Barbados, lilies, and roses was thick in the air.

“Baby,” Alessandro's voice came from beside me, and I tilted my head to look at him.

However, I didn't expect to see him kneeling on one leg with a box of ring in his hold, as he looked into my eyes, like it held the stars in the sky.

In all honesty, I hadn't expected a proposal at all when we decided to embark on this vacation.
