“Please have your seat, detective Conan,” I said to the tall, burly man as he walked into my office. “Would you like some refreshments?”

“No, thanks,” He replied, as he sat down on the sofa at the center of my office.

“Alright then,” I said, taking my seat as well. “So what brings you to my office? Any good news?”

After Dylan told me everything about Max's dark past, I had decided to employ a private detective who could further look into the case and assist us with putting Max behind bars forever.

I knew and very much believed that the good for nothing bastard must have killed his parents because there was really no other plausible explanation.

How could he have disappeared around the time his parents drowned?

“Yes, sir. We have found a way to get an arrest warrant for Mr Sanders,” He divulged. “He allegedly founded a cryptocurrency scheme that proved to be a scam and caused many individuals and companies to go bankrupt.”
