Chapter 90: Shane

Four years later, Samuel wondered if it was time for him to start over again. Though he still loved Amy, the detective couldn’t trace her location. Since he couldn’t find her, Samuel didn’t know how much longer he could wait for her. His grandmother was getting older, and Samuel needed an heir.

Sometimes, he asked Madeline to have dinner and enjoyed his time with her. Currently, another billionaire also approached Madeline. However, Samuel didn’t want to rush because Madeline and he were good friends. He still considered it if he should pursue her as his future wife or stay as friends with her.

The next day, after having lunch at a business meeting, Samuel’s car got a flat tire. So, Miguel, his driver, parked the car on the side of the street. While Miguel fixed the tire with a car jack, Samuel went outside to have a walk.

A little boy ran along the pavement outside of a kindergarten and almost bumped into Samuel. Then Samuel steadied the boy’s little arm to help the boy not fall.
