Chapter 81: Sharing the Past

After visiting the property agent’s office, they went to see several houses and buildings for a cafe. Reese liked the fifth house they saw and bought it right away. He asked the agent to show him the buildings for the cafe the next day.

The house he had was a middle-size house, but he loved the house as it had a great view to the beach. Reese asked Amy to enjoy his house for a while before he would send her home. The house was fully furnished, and they enjoyed tea in the back garden right now.

“Do you have siblings?” Amy asked.

“No, I’m the only child. How about you?”

“I have a sister, Jillian. She is four years younger than me.”

“How old are you?” Reese asked. “You seem quite young.”

“I’m twenty. In a few months, I’ll be twenty-one.”

He nodded. “I wonder how you met your ex-husband? You don’t need to answer if you don’t want to.”
