Amy took a deep breath, then she told Vivian about what Doctor Benjamin said. Vivian patted Amy’s hand and shook her head.

“I think you can discuss it with Samuel, but we can’t know the future. Who knows if Jillian will regain her consciousness with no additional disabilities?”

“True, Grandma. I feel it’s so heavy for me if I must decide to end her life support since it will feel like I kill her. She is the only family I have left.” Amy sobbed again.

“I can understand it well since Samuel’s grandpa also had a coma before passing away. But he didn’t spend months in a coma, only a week.”
