I drove to the city square where we all spent our new year, and it was just like the same and nothing has changed. Life lately has been filled with uncertainty and chaos, we are still trying hard to stay together. Today I feel like coming out alone and reflecting on a lot of things.

I came out of my car as I walked to the spot that my friends and I stayed and spent the new year but then I noticed a figure sitting there and it was female, I wondered who it was so I went closer

“Esther?” I called and she slowly turned, I was right, its Esther

“Zack?” She called in surprise as her face lit up in excitement,

“What are you doing here?” I asked and walked closer to her

“Came to have some fresh air, it feels so stuffy at home” She muttered the last part with sadness, I didn't say anything all I did was gently sat beside her while I looked around the whole place

“What happened at home, are you okay?”

“Hmmmm, my parents are getting a divorce”

“Why? Are they not happily married?”
