100. DEATHBED

“Falling in love is not for doctors,” that’s one of the philosophies of one of my lecturers back in medical school.

His reason? He said when a doctor falls deeply in love and got heartbroken because of the uncertainties of life, he or she might mistakenly give a patient the wrong treatment and even end up killing him. 

Though he used to say it as a joke, those words have always been a part of me, partially a philosophy that might be partly responsible for my approach to dating.
