ENGAGEMENT

“So you're trying to tell me that you are engaged to Alpha Gavin?” My father scoffed as I sat before all the advisors. “Don't be ridiculous.”

“He's my mate.” I pointed out and they all whispered, looking around. “I've been with him for five years now.”

It wasn't technically wrong, we've known of each other's existence due to our kids since then. No one knew who the mother of his son was and no one but those in my family knew about Lyra. I've never told any of them who her father was because I ignored the question every time.

“Does that mean he is your daughter's father and you've been having an affair with him before you announced your relationship to us?” The head of the advisors asked with a disgusted look.
