For as far as the eye could see, which wasn't very far as the only light was available came from silver from the candelabras which stood at least 6 foot tall each supporting at least 7 candles, not the average candles we can buy from a shop, but big chunky lopsided candles that looked like they were made by a 5yr old, they were the only form of lighting as I could tell. I walked further down the corridor taking in my surroundings. The windows had no glass in them, but were lined fine wooden detailing.
