This was just too much for me to watch.

"Alpha, you didn't have to do that." I scolded.

"So I had to let her kill you? Is that the best had to do little one?" He questioned with a serious expression on his face and I didn't need to soothsayer tell me that he's angry.

"No, that's not what I meant."I replied with my head's low.

"Don't ever try to see my judgment as unjust because I weigh things before taking any actions. Meanwhile, let's go have dinner and let the matter slide." Alpha suggested and offered me his hands of which I hooked mine with.

After dinner, Alpha requested that I take a stroll with him in the pack house of which I agreed to.

Afterall, all I've ever wanted was quality time with him and it was happening.

But as we took the stroll, the only matter that ran through my mind was why and how he hadn't professed to me his mate yet.

Wolves were very sensitive animals and they didn't need to spend an entire year with their mates
