Chapter 51

Kia's POV.

It's been two days since my confrontation with Tracy. I have not caught sight of her since then. It was more like she was trying everything to avoid me.

I admit I had gone overboard with my words, but they were true. I walked to the kitchen for the hundredth time today, hoping to bump into her.

Maybe lurking around the kitchen would not bring the answers I need.

"Um, Cleo, where.. where is Tracy?" I asked, wondering if I had made a mistake I would regret eventually.

"Sir Kia, she has not been here since yesterday."

"Did she state why she could not come?"

"No sir, she did not even bother asking for a proper excuse. I don't know who she feels she is... You should deal with her."

"Ooh, alright. Thank you for your time."

If she was not here, then where could she be? She had passed out on our way back, but the healer had assured us that she was stable. I glanced at my wristwatch; it was almost 6 pm, and the healer promised to be here today to be a second badge of medications.
