Chapter one hundred and fifty seven

Zach’s POV

I walked about with my beta, wondering how I was going to get the elders to approve of my decision.

“I mean, he tried to destroy my marriage. Can’t I say least get his head or something?” I asked Lucas who chomped on a steak with a happy look on his face.

“Alpha, you need to relax,” Lucas smiled. “You can’t go about blaming people for this kind of crime even if he was found guilty of it by you. It is against the law by the werewolf council. They could decide to have you removed from the throne.”

I sighed. He was right. But I still needed to at least try.

“I’m going to the council of wolves to report this.”

My statement brought a horrific look to the man who dropped the remaining steak to the ground.

“No,” he said with fear. “You do that and you are letting your pack be open.”

“The damage has been done to me and my pack, I will not let it stand.”
