Chapter 49: First Day Of Trouble

Darkness finally arrived, and it's my first day at work. I was already prepared to go to work. I never forget to remind Cassandra to lock the door and don't let James get inside the cabin. She promised me and I felt relieved about it.

I went straight to the bar where I will start my job. As I entered the place, there were already few customers. I was greeted by the same woman whom I talked to last morning when I was looking for a job. She brought me to the counter to where the drinks and food were.

“Every time you give the customer their order, don't forget to smile. It will make them like you, and when they like you, customers would be pleased to come back because of how the staff treated them.”

I smiled at the woman and put in my mind that I came here because of one thing. I am here for work.

“I'll remember this.” I answered her, and she just smiled.
