Preparing for the battle against the witches was a bit harder than I thought. I was going to have to depend more on my guns and physical combat than the katana.

" A witch is just like a human being. Their physical strength is just like that of a human being. What makes them deadly is their magic and the kind of magic they wield." Melena was explaining to me during my training with Philip.

Audrey and Melena had decided to get involved with my training this time around. The mages claimed that I had wielded magic while fighting Dimitri. They were trying to understand why I was able to wield the magic then but unable to do so during training.

" Unlike mages," Audrey began," Witches have elemental magic. Their magic works with one element. Some have a combination of two or three, but they are rare. The most common of them are the witches that wield fire magic. If you remember, at the battle with the vampires, the rogue witches there only used fire magic as weapons." She stated,
