"Are you telling the truth?" As I sat in my living room, staring at the one woman I was attracted to yet hating for reasons best known to me, I waited for replies from the men kneeling before me. These were the men I had caught pursuing her while I was leaving. "Yes, she really injured us with that rod. She stole from our boss even as she tried to escape," one of them explained and I found it hard to believe. "You know the consequences of lying to me right?" I asked, turning to face them as I played with the knife in my hand. The smirk on my face was enough to let them know I wasn't joking. "Of course Alpha! We are saying nothing but the truth!" They hastily answered and I nodded my head. "Leave, I'll be coming to speak to your boss," I hissed while they turned to exchange looks. "Alpha, the lady has been bought," one of them said and as soon as these words escaped his mouth, the knife in my eyes went straight for his eyeball, piercing it as he screamed loudly. The irritating shrieks of two young ladies I had brought along with me irked me greatly and I wanted nothing but to shut them up for good. A quick look at them did the trick but not what I wanted, still I could make do with it. "Now leave before I change my mind," I hissed as the men scrambled to their feet, leaving the two young ladies behind together with the woman that reminded me of my past. "Luca! " I called out to Luca who was standing far from me all the while, not a single bit fazed by what happened. "Lock those two up in the room. I'll decide on what to do with them all," I tipped my chin at the ladies who shivered as Luca pulled them up and away from me. I was contemplating on what to do with them all, whether to return them seeing as this woman affected me a lot and brought back memories I had buried. Now, my attention was on the one woman who affected me in so many ways. She reminded me of the one person I hated the most. Despite the fact that they seemed to look alike, I knew they were different. Moreover, the unique strand of hair wasn't on this one but still, I was pissed. Sighing, I stood up and lifted her in my arms as a soft moan escaped her lips. I stilled in shock, her moan sending my heart pounding as blood rushed to the lower part of my body. I willed my body to carry her to a guest room, pushing the door open and closing it as I moved towards the bed. Slowly, I laid her on it and just as I moved away, she moved and then, her scent hit me like waves, almost sending me tumbling to my knees. "Shit!" My eyes trailed down her body, to her thick thighs that would send me groveling to the floor if I wasn't trying to control myself so badly. "This is bad!" I whispered, my eyes trailed further downward as I took in her figure in the oversized gown. Her scent came crashing down like waves and I could barely think straight. "Hm…Vin…zo," she murmured in her sleep, my eyes snapping to her slightly opened mouth as the thought of the dirty things I could do to it ran in my head. "F*CK!" I cursed for the nth time in a few minutes of being close to her. I could swear I heard her say my name but the thought flew out of my head when she pulled my hand and turned her back to me. It took all of my control not to grab those big mountains and squeeze tightly like my life depended on it. "No way! You're leaving as soon as you wake!" I pulled my hand harshly out of her hands as I moved to open the window, letting the air in. At that moment, that was my biggest regret as the air carried waves of her scent to hit me, making my knees fall to the floor as I hissed in pain. My legs ached terribly as I struggled to stand up. "Are you okay?" I heard a very soft yet seductive voice ask. Raising my head to see that she was making her way out of the bed, towards me. She seemed to be stumbling in her steps as she walked, her eyes closed even as she tried to force them open. The more she walked closer to me, the more her scent got stronger. No doubt this lady was in heat! There was only one way to totally kill her heat. Any other means was temporary. Her scent was so strong and there was no doubt she had a mate. A female's scent could only be this strong on her heat day only when she has been sleeping with her mate during her other heat days. The thought of another's hands on her angered me greatly as I clenched my fists. Her soft moans as she stumbled towards me snapped me out of my thoughts. She was only a few steps away from me when she lost her footing, falling straight towards me. I stretched out my hands, guiding her head from the fall as we both laid on the floor, her atop me, with my hands grabbing her big backside. "Umm," she wriggled atop me.
