“Dad?”

Michael’s eyes widened in disbelief.

He was certain that was the voice of his father and the head of the Carson family, George Carson.

But why was he here?

Following the sound, Michael turned and saw a stern middle-aged man glaring at him in anger.

Michael rubbed his eyes. He was still in disbelief.

George was supposed to be in Central Harbor. Why was he here?

“Dad, why are you here?” asked Michael in fear as all his arrogance vanished.

He was the heir of the Carson family and feared no one except for George.

Whenever George pulled a long face, Michael trembled in fear.

At that moment, George was so furious, and Michael was terrified. He had never seen such a scary look on George’s face before.

“I said, get on your knees and apologize!” George shouted.

Thud!

Michael did not dare disobey him. He fell to his knees in front of George.

“Not to me! To him!” George shouted.

Michael followed George’s gaze, and his face stiffened.

George was talking about

“When the Carson family fell into decline, Thomas joined Hell Hall. With their support, we rose to power again and joined the ranks of powerful families! “In order to repay the King of Hades, Thomas became one of his Secret Guards. That is a great honor for the Carson family!” George’s words sent Michael into shock. This was too much for him to handle. “He’s… the King of Hades… the leader of Hell Hall?” Michael looked at Dustin in disbelief. “Obviously.” George really wanted to slap Michael again. Michael felt all his strength drain from his body, and his face turned pale. The King of Hades? He was the ruler of the underground! He stood at the top of the world! Michael could not believe that the person the Wyatt family kicked out was the leader of Hell Hall and the master of the Carson family. Michael trembled so badly at that point that his mouth quivered. He was no longer arrogant. ‘Oh no… Oh no…’ he thought as he trembled. “After I sent those two messages to

The Wyatt sisters gathered together at the Wyatt family villa. Amara looked much better than she had a few days ago. It seemed like she had recovered from the dejection she felt from losing her money in the stock market. “How’s the situation with the company?” she asked as she sat on the sofa. “Not good. The Zimmer family keeps pushing us, and they don’t seem to want to stop. It looks like they intend to take us down with them,” Clara said darkly. Amara pulled a long face. She had thought about buying shares to save the company, but she ended up losing fifty million dollars, which worsened the situation. “How are you feeling, Bella?” She looked over at Bella, who was sitting beside her. Bella appeared to be in a daze and did not answer. “She’s not mentally here… at least not entirely. Sometimes, she’s okay, but whenever I ask her what happened that day, she starts screaming and loses all her reason.” Delia sighed. “I can’t cure her… not with my skills. I heard that a fa

“Why is one of the Seven Fiends here?” Shadow Two asked darkly. “I heard that the Wyatt family is no longer under the king’s protection. Looks like it’s true.” The Hidden Fiend looked around with a teasing grin. “Over the years, plenty of powerful fighters attacked the Wyatt family, but they’ve never been able to step in because of that person who was protecting this place. Now, I’ve just walked in, and I’m still fine. It seems like he really has left.” The Hidden Fiend smiled coldly. “What did you say? King’s protection? People have been trying to attack this place?” Delia was puzzled. “He must be talking about one of the Shadows,” Amara whispered. “We have thieves vying for our treasure. Dad left behind the Shadows to protect us from the dark. That’s why we were safe. But Dustin shamelessly tried to claim credit for all of that since he didn’t know about the Shadows. He doesn’t know that I do, though,” Amara said mockingly. Shadow Two was stunned because he knew that the S

As night fell, Simone drove back to the Langley family villa. As usual, Dustin followed her. He followed Simone everywhere every day and helped her take care of company matters. They looked like a couple, and other people also treated Dustin like he was already married to Simone. Dustin said nothing about the matter and just let things happen on their own. He did like Simone, and if they really were to get together, he would not refuse. After they got out of the car, they wanted to go into the villa, but Dustin suddenly stopped. “Head in first, Simone. I’m going to buy some things,” Dustin said with a smile. Simone gave him a look. “Come back soon. I’ll wait for you to have dinner together.” Then, she went in. Dustin’s face darkened. He left the Langley family villa in a flash and stopped under a tree. “Come out!” he snapped. Someone stepped out from the dark. He looked surprised. “You live up to the reputation of being Lucas’s best student. You’re pretty good

He held a dagger and lunged toward Dustin to attack him from the back. He wanted to tear Dustin up and slice his flesh off to make him experience a fate worse than death. That was the price for underestimating him. In an instant, the Hidden Fiend drew close to Dustin. With a savage face, he swung his dagger. Boom! Suddenly, he heard an explosion beside him. It was quick and loud. “What?” The Hidden Fiend looked to the side and was surprised to see someone charging at him at lightning speed. During that critical moment, the Hidden Fiend gave up on attacking Dustin and attacked the other person instead. Clang! His dagger shattered to pieces. The Hidden Fiend’s eyes widened in shock. But before his surprise could sink in, a violent force rammed into his body. “Cough!” His ribs broke, and he coughed up blood. The Hidden Fiend skidded back for nearly thirty feet before he stopped. His face was filled with fear. The pain he experienced could not even compare t

Clara sat in a pavilion within the Wyatt family garden. While she fed the fish, she watched them fight for the food with an indifferent face. “Did you look into it?” she asked. Shadow Two stood beside her. “I couldn’t find anything,” he said. “Even the best information organization in Lovellia that I paid to dig out information couldn’t find anything. They just told me that the person’s information is classified as SSS grade by the Divine Hall. Not even their best programmer could hack into it.” Clara froze. “The Divine Hall’s SSS grade?” Her face stiffened. “The Divine Hall is just a title. It’s the storage bank for classified information about the most important people in Lovellia. Every single person in the Divine Hall is incredibly mysterious. They have high statuses and also incredible influence,” Shadow Two said. “You can say that every person in the Divine Hall has the power to influence the world order. Their statuses and information are only accessible to the rulers

“We have to take revenge for the Hidden Fiend and retrieve that treasure while we’re at it!” The other five fiends stood up. The Seven Fiends operated on a system where they shared each other’s glory and each other’s losses. They had to avenge the Hidden Fiend. This was the first time the Seven Fiends were working together, so it was bound to be an operation that shocked all martial artists. “I don’t think you need to leave this place to do that,” someone suddenly said from the dark. The other six fiends were shocked. “Who is it? Come out!” Two people came out of the darkness. Their faces gradually came into view. “Who are you?” the leader asked with narrowed eyes. If these two people could show up unnoticed, then they were certainly strong. “I’m the person you are looking for.” Dustin looked at the six fiends closely. “What?! You’re Dustin Fox?” The six fiends were surprised. Dustin had killed their comrade and had the nerve to turn up here? Did he really wan

“What… what do you want to know?” The leader’s face paled, and his eyes filled with terror. He was the only one left, and the threat of death made him lose his courage. Dustin’s fierce gaze put immense pressure on him. After all, he was a terrifying figure who could make a sovereign grade fighter obey him! “What exactly is the treasure of the Wyatt family? Why are you people looking for it?” Dustin asked with a frown. This question had puzzled him for years. Ever since Lucas’s passing, he took up the task of protecting the Wyatt family and fought against far too many powerful people. From a nobody, he became a world-class fighter whose name made all other martial artists quake in their boots. He had also killed far too many people who coveted the treasure of the Wyatt family. They were people from various groups and world-class organizations. But even to this day, he did not know what exactly the treasure was. How great of an item must it be that so many people were w

The Aquila family was one of the most powerful families of Lannopolis. At this moment, Brennan Aquila, the patriarch of the Aquila family was frowning and sitting in his usual seat. “Is there no news?” he asked the servant before him. “Sir, we’ve searched the entirety of Rivenesco, but we couldn’t locate Devon. We’ve also inquired with the Panther Gang and checked the Langley family’s main villa in Rivenesco, but we found nothing,” the servant said. When he heard that, Brennan looked even more troubled. His second son, Devon, had taken along some people from the Panther Gang to Rivenesco a few days ago. He had wanted to seek revenge but had then disappeared. “Investigate more! Use more drastic measures if you need to!” he shouted. “There’s no need to investigate any further,” said a woman’s voice from beyond the room. A beautiful, elegant young woman walked into the Aquila family’s living room. “Who are you?” Brennan asked. “Bianca Winter of the Seven Clans of

“This is entirely the Langley family’s fault that we underestimated you! We were prideful and blind…” Margot said solemnly. “Please forgive us, My Liege!” At this point, Margot could do nothing but admit her mistakes. With a word, the King of Hades could wipe the Langley family from the face of the earth without so much as a noise. Dustin did not bother to respond. “Fine. Invite Simone and her family here immediately. I think you know what to do now, right?” he said coldly. “Yes, I do. I won’t let you down, My Liege!” Margot said quickly. She sent someone to invite Simone and her family here. Soon, Simone’s family arrived in the living room. They looked a little stunned. By that time, the members of the Panther Gang were all gone and the place had been cleaned up. It was as if nothing had happened here. “What happened to you?” Simone looked confused. She saw how strangely the members of the Langley family were behaving. “Uncle Derek, why are you trembling?” She

“The Panther Gang will serve the King of Hades!” Blake declared loudly as he knelt on the floor. The members of the Langley family and those of the Panther Gang stared in shock. A minute ago, Blake seemed very intimidating and intent on seeking justice. They were taken aback by his abrupt change in attitude. “The King of Hades… The master of Hell Hall! The King of Hades!” Margot gasped so hard she nearly fainted. The members of the Langley family were so terrified that their faces turned ghostly pale. There was no one on earth who did not fear the might of Hell Hall. Some of the people in the living room were shaking in fright. In the past, they all thought that Dustin was a nobody, so they treated him like trash. When they thought about how their family had tried to kill the King of Hades, the members of the Langley family felt horrified. Dustin glanced at the man kneeling on the floor, and his face looked taunting. “Your sister is the wife of the head of the A

Dustin had not said anything about the numerous Panther Gang corpses on the floor. No one had dared to clear them away. In the middle of all the mess was Devon’s headless body. When Blake recognized the corpse, his eyes widened in fury. He looked at Dustin without bothering to hide his desire for revenge. “Who are you? Where did you come from? Are you with the law or something else?” Blake did not make a move immediately. Instead, he demanded answers from Dustin. When he received the report from one of his branch leaders, he realized that Dustin was not someone to be messed with. That was why he was questioning Dustin first. Dustin looked at Blake, and his gaze froze the gang leader in place. “Back in the day, the Aquila family only started growing after participating in a campaign to destroy the Fox family of Grayvale. Did the Panther Gang have a hand in that campaign?” Dustin asked. His gaze was focused on Blake. If he admitted his involvement, he would be dead. “T

The three branch leaders of the Panther Gang were stony-faced. One of them said coldly, “Arrogant punk!” Dustin had cut off Devon’s head and was demanding Blake Torell, Blake, to come here to see him. None of them had ever encountered anyone who was so brazen in Rivenesco. “We won’t dare to return to the head of our gang without your head as a trophy!” The branch leaders were aggressive while their crowd of gang members outside were preparing to rush in. Dustin looked annoyed as he waved a hand. One of the Hell Guards made his move. He was like a shadow as he shot through the door. Thereafter, the two leaders’ eyes widened in horror. Blood gushed from their throats as they fell. The remaining branch leader was shaken. She shuddered. Dustin’s subordinate had killed them as easily as breathing. The members of the Panther Gang who had been preparing to rush inside froze. They stood outside motionless. The members of the Langley family were shocked. The branch leader

The might of the Panther Gang was unquestionable. They were not a small gang made up of scattered, ragtag individuals. They were a group of true, formidable forces of the underground in Honora! When did the members of the Panther Gang become so weak? “You… Where do these underlings of yours come from?” Devon said with gritted teeth as he stared at the Hell Guards with his mouth wide open. “Just a few lackeys I trained,” Dustin said flatly. “Anyway, what were you saying just a moment ago? You’re the nephew of the head of the Panther Gang? Why don’t you call everyone here? Get them in here all at once. Makes it easier to kill them in one go.” Devon was stunned. His entire army was being undermined. “Don’t get cocky! These are only the Panther Gang’s weakest members. There are more than a hundred people outside. No matter how powerful your people are, do you think they can beat a hundred men?” Devon asked viciously. “Hmph! Back in the day, the Aquila family even dared t

The Langley family thought that the police had arrived. One of them immediately got up to welcome them. Dustin did not make his Hell Guards stop that person. “Mr. Aquila!” When the person appeared at the doorway, he let out a shocked cry. The person who had come to the villa was not the police. It was the person that Dustin had almost beaten to death a few days ago. It was Devon Aquila. With his men, Devon stormed into the villa in fury. A few days ago, Devon had suffered greatly here. Not only had he failed to meet Simone but also had one of his arms broken in this place. As the second son of the prominent Aquila family, how could he just let that insult slide? After recuperating for a few days, he took his men to Rivenesco despite still being far from full recovery. When he got a lead on Dustin, he immediately rushed to the Langley family’s main villa. “Mr. Aquila, you got here right on time!” Margot looked overjoyed when she saw Devon here with so many people. “

At the Langley family’s main villa, everyone was waiting for news in the living room. “Has Christian not replied yet?” Margot asked Derek with a frown from where she sat. “No, Mom, not yet…” Derek glanced at his phone. “Don’t worry. Christian is very capable,” he said, “That piece of trash from the Wyatt family will be helpless if he doesn’t have the bodyguards the Wyatt family’s head left for him. I’m sure Christian will call with good news soon.”Margot nodded and looked at the members of the Langley family gathered there. “That guy is really annoying. Once we take care of him, all of you must keep your mouths shut. Don’t let David’s family catch wind of anything,” she said solemnly. Everyone nodded in understanding. “David and his family are riding high right now. The Langley family needs them to thrive. Let’s be patient for now, and when everything is stabilized and the Langley family has grown, we won’t have to care about their opinion anymore…” Margot’s voice was

When that thought sprang into his mind, he felt that everything finally made sense. ‘They say that this person is just a piece of trash from the Wyatt family. He’s supposed to be utterly useless and without a purpose. That’s why he was kicked out. But he doesn’t look like he’s useless at all! ‘How can someone who influences both the underground world and the law be considered useless?’ Christian started panicking because he was sent to kill Dustin. He broke out in a cold sweat and did not dare make a sound. While no one was paying attention, he dragged himself outside little by little. “Mr. Fox, my family is driven to a corner. You’re the only one who can save us now! Please help us this time!” Klein begged. “What happened to your family?” Dustin asked with a frown. “Our family was fighting the Wyatt family, and we were hoping to deal a heavy blow to them. We were just one step away from success, but suddenly, the Wyatt family received help. They suddenly became much stro
