"I repeat, all students should move to the hall immediately."

Max, Mia, and Martha glanced at one another in confusion.

The school hall was soon flooded with students and teachers--all were keen to know the reason for the sudden gathering.

The crowd was noisy and rowdy. Students were discussing amongst themselves what the reason could be.

"Is our school engaging in another competition?"

"Could it be a football competition?"

"Is she resigning?"

It wasn't until the principal ascended the podium that everyone fell completely silent.

The students eagerly wanted to hear what the woman had to say.

A few seconds later, Mrs. Babington cleared her throat before proceeding to speak into the microphone.
