Aurelia's POV

I sat on the cold, hard floor of my cramped room, feeling the weight of exhaustion seeping into my bones. My mind was clouded with a mix of fear, frustration, and desperation. Each passing day felt like an eternity, and I yearned for freedom with an intensity that consumed me.

Suddenly, the familiar sound of the door clicking open snapped me out of my reverie. I looked up to see Lucas, one of the pack members, entering the room carrying a tray of food. He placed it on the small table and announced that my meal was ready. The aroma of warm, nourishing food wafted through the air, enticing my senses.

I rose from the floor, my body aching and protesting the movement. With weary steps, I approached Lucas, who stood there watching me. As I reached him, I mustered all the courage I had left and gently placed my hands around his neck, standing on my toes to bring myself closer to him. His eyes widened with surprise, and he cautiously asked what I was doing.

Aurelia's Point Of ViewI took a deep breath, my heart heavy with the burden of forgiveness and reconciliation. "Dante," I began, "I know that Vivian was involved in what happened to me, and I can't deny the pain and betrayal I felt. But I also know that she was manipulated by Genevieve, just as I was."Dante regarded me with a mixture of pride and concern. "Aurelia, forgiveness is a noble path, but it's not always easy. Are you sure this is what you want?"I nodded firmly, my resolve unwavering. "Yes, Dante. I believe that forgiveness can heal wounds and strengthen bonds. Vivian was once a dear friend, and I want to offer her a chance to make amends. Maybe, in doing so, we can rebuild the trust we once shared."Dante's expression softened, and he gently squeezed my shoulder. "You have a compassionate heart, my love. If that is your wish, then we shall go to Vivian and extend our forgiveness."Tears of gratitude welled up in my eyes as I embraced my mate. It was a step toward healing

I couldn't let them take you."I nodded, my heart swelling with gratitude for my friend's unwavering support. Alpha Dante's Point Of ViewThe moon hung low in the velvety night sky, casting a soft, silvery glow over the secluded forest clearing where Aurelia and I stood. Her presence, so close yet seemingly distant, was like a fragile flame struggling against the encroaching darkness. Her eyes, once bright and full of life, now held a shadow of fear that sent shivers down my spine."Aurelia," I implored, my voice laced with a mixture of desperation and longing. I took a step closer to her, my senses attuned to every nuance of her body language. "You can't keep running from this, from us. You can't hide forever. Come home with me, please."She hesitated, the night breeze ruffling her dark hair as she turned her gaze away from me, as if searching for answers among the stars. I knew it was going to be a tough sell, especially with all the evidence stacked against her.
