Chapter 498

Celeste hadn't left the country since Sylvia passed away two years ago, and this was her first trip to Paron.

Even though she was worn out from the journey and lying in the hotel room, she just couldn't fall asleep.

The long-lost insomnia struck her, and Celeste realized that Damon was the only remedy for her sleep disorder. Without Damon, she lost her ability to fall asleep quickly.

Taverdale was ahead of Paron by six hours. Damon was probably already sitting at the dining table, sipping coffee and flipping through the financial magazines.

"I've arrived," she texted Damon.

Damon replied promptly, "Got it. I've already checked with your hotel over there."

"Huh? Why didn't you ask me? Asking the hotel front desk is troublesome," Celeste puzzled. Then, she suddenly understood, "Are you worried that texting me will disturb me?"

Damon replied with a simple "Yeah," and Celeste's heart softened.

They exchanged a few idle chats.
