Chapter 103

The two found a casual dining restaurant to have a meal there. The shop was so small that there wasn't even a designated parking space for customers. Winston could only park his Bentley on the roadside. It looked really incongruous there.

"You've never eaten at a diner before, have you?" Celeste poured some fries onto Winston's plate.

Winston found her action funny and adorable. He had certainly experienced this before. It was exactly the way he lived before his 20s.

"I get this strange feeling whenever I meet you," he said carefully.

"What is it?"

"You give me the impression that I secretly have a daughter somewhere out there, with whom I was just recently acquainted."

"Pfft—" Celeste almost choked on her own saliva.

"I'm almost 22 years old this year. Don't even think about taking advantage of me," she said. She couldn't help but laugh.

The two took more than three hours to finish their meal. Damon called her in the middle of their meal, but Celeste rejected his call.
