Pari's Pov(continuation.) 

I bit on my bottom lip, using my hair to block my hot cheeks. 

Why is it so hot here?

"That night, at California." He says, and my ears perks up at his words. 

That night. 

"You mean that night you came back all blooded up?" I ask, snapping my mouth shut when he sends me a 'shut up and listen look.'

He is so rude. 

'That night, I got into a fight with Bennett." He states. "Guess he told you about what happened between the two of us."

"About Freya?" I blurt out, clamping my mouth shut with the realisation of what I just said. 

Jeez Pari, you shouldn't talk about his ex.
