"What do you want?" she demanded. Ivory took a knife from her bag and pointed it at the man who had saved her.

This time was not the first time someone had questioned her hair color, so Ivory would no longer easily trust the man even though he had saved her life.

"Wait, don't get angry! I won't hurt you. I'll pay you handsomely. Whatever you ask for! But you have to do something for me." Max stepped forward, eroding the distance between himself and the girl. "Please put that back in your bag, Miss."

The girl didn't immediately respond to Max's words. Instead, she slowly lowered the object in her hand.

For a moment, the girl was mesmerized and hypnotized by the appearance of a man in a suit, sharp hazel irises, and brown hair styled slightly messy. She almost said yes right away.

"What do I have to do for you to make such a high offer? I don't want to be a drug courier or human trafficker," she replied.

"Not at all. I want you to release the curse on me."

The girl chuckled. Unbelievable!

A modern-looking man like Max still believed in the superstition that he was suffering from a curse. The girl didn't even know what Max's curse was.

"Seriously, sir."

"I know it's absurd, but it's real. What's your name?"

"Ivory. You can call me Ivy."

"Yes, Ivy, you won't believe it. Many women have stayed away from me; some have even died of heart attacks. And—and they, I mean my family members, said that I should find a silver-haired girl to break my curse."

"To hell with the curse or whatever! Just tell me what to do." Ivory started to get serious this time.

"The problem is, just as I've said, I can't have sex with anyone because of this curse, and Ange said the only one who could break it is the silver-haired girl—which must be you; then do the union. I think that we have to get a bounding. So it means you have to sleep with me, right? That's the only way."

Hearing Max's request, Ivory laughed. Max's story was the most absurd thing she had ever heard. Why should she believe Max? He could have been just looking for fun, selling such mystical and superstitious stories.

"You're joking, right?" Ivory scrunched her waist. She didn't believe Max's words. A good-looking man like him would have no trouble finding a date for the night.

Why did it have to be Ivory?

"It doesn't matter if you don't believe me. If you want to know, prove it. You can leave right then and there if you want, and I'll still pay you your dues." Max was still struggling with his offer.

Even in such a way, could Ivory still refuse?

The silver-haired girl tapped her shoes. She was considering what she would do. Would she agree with Max, which meant accepting the offer at any cost, or would she reject it outright?

"Ivy, come on, don't take too long. You need money to pay your father's debts, so you can be free from Benjamin or whoever it is, right? I can give you any amount and attempt to free you from that pimp."

It still didn't work. Ivory still flinched and did not answer at all. She was still looking at the man before her, who suddenly came to her rescue but told her tales of curses.

Should she believe it?

"Ivy ... hurry up! Don't you feel that it's cold in here?" Max's mouth was already emitting smoke as a sign that the temperature was relatively low.

It had just entered the fall season. Max couldn't stand it whenever the season with its piercing cold arrived.

He longed to curl up in his bed and hide under the covers.

"Alright, Mr. Force! Let's get to it." Ivory turned around and picked up her coat.

The girl then followed Max to his residence in Max's car.

***

The vehicle they were riding in began to pass through pine forests on the right and left. Ivory had no suspicions because she was sure Max wouldn't have malicious intentions.

Even if he dared to do something wrong, Ivory could beat him up.

Max invited Ivory to come in and relax while he got her a drink. Max handed Ivory a glass of wine.

"Are we having a party?" she asked as she looked at her glass and Max's.

"Yes, you're my party. I want to make things clear here, Ivory."

The girl spat.

"I think I'm pretty clear on what you want. You want to test if I can get you off the curse, and then what? Is it, then—hmph!"

Max silenced Ivory with an intense peck on the girl's luscious lips. Ivory didn't resist because she knew the deal, as she said before.

Ivory returned Max's peck, biting Max a bit until the man felt his arousal rise again.

Max realized his desire was peaking. Some parts of his body began to stiffen, and he bit harder into the girl's lips.

Uncharacteristically fine hairs had appeared on several parts of Max's body. The clothes he was wearing began to tighten. Soon, he would become a cursed figure, just like he always thought.

"Argh!" Max groaned, feeling several body parts tighten and expand, causing extreme pain.

But he had to finish what he had begun right away.

At the same time, Ivory's eyes, which had previously been closed, had now opened. The clear blue pupils looked at Max's hazel irises that had turned golden.

Looking away from Max, she noticed his different look from before.

A half-wolf-Lycan creature was on top of her, intending to devour her or continue the struggle with her.

Max groaned again, his breathing ragged, between the pain in his body and the desire that screamed for immediate release.

"You can run if you want," he stammered, still panting.

Ivory gave him a crooked smile, then stroked the man's jaw above her.

"Run? Why should I run? This is the task you have for me, isn't it? It's already like this, so what? What else do you want me to do?" the girl asked.

"Argh! Are you sure?" asked Max, making sure. His hands continued to clench, squeezing the sofa's surface where he and Ivory were.

Not only was it painful, Max's whole body felt like it was going to explode right then and there. He couldn't wait for a response from the girl still underneath him, in his confinement.

Ivory didn't want to waste any more time; she nodded.

"I know this will be painful, but let's get this over with. So you'll know if what your family members said was true—that I might be able to release you from the curse."

Max looked deeply into Ivory's eyes again. There was no trepidation there as if she was used to witnessing the transformation of humans into monsters as Max had.

And the girl's sentence just now ... painful, she said? Was she ...

"W-what did you mean by that? Painful? What hurts? Do you want me to stop this now?" the man asked, unable to hold back any longer. In several parts of his body, his veins were already protruding. It appeared that Max was now struggling to hold himself together.

If Ivory said 'no' and asked Max to stop, he was finished!

Ivory didn't answer in the form of a sentence but pulled Max to continue the game that had stopped for a moment.

Max was serious this time.

Ivory was the only girl who wasn't scared when she saw Max in his monstrous form. The girl even intended to play until the very end.

Max didn't want to waste any time. He couldn't wait to see the effect of what he was doing. Was it true that his curse would disappear if he fucked this silver-haired girl?

Max could see that Ivory's long, flowing hair was shining in the moonlight. Not only that, her skin looked so radiant.

Max shook his head quickly, trying to rid himself of the charms of Ivory, the silver-haired girl. He then merged himself and Ivory, filling her with everything she had never felt.

Ivory squealed softly, enduring the pain in her groin—like being stabbed by a dagger. She had asked Max to continue, so she had to take this pain.

Is this what having sex feels like—as her friends say?

If so, then they were lying.

Or maybe not ... they were right. It hurt the first time, but when Max started moving regularly, Ivory felt incredible pleasure.

She couldn't stop her mouth from moaning, groaning, and squealing every time Max's movements started to become rhythmic.

Before long, both of them reached the peak of pleasure together. And as Max moved regularly on Ivory's body, Max unconsciously left scratches and bites on several parts of Ivory's body.

The girl moaned, not only because of the pleasure that was like an explosion in her lower part but also because of the brutality practiced by Max.

That mark could have been a sign that neither of them realized.

Sunlight streamed in from behind the curtains. The large glass windows allowed the room to be bathed in the warmth of the morning sun. Ivory wriggled slowly, trying to relax her stiff muscles. She let out a soft squeal as she felt her bones being crushed to a pulp. She looked to her side, but Max was not there. Where was he? "Good morning," greeted a man in his rich baritone voice. If people didn't know, they might think he was in his thirties, but he wasn't yet. "Hey ... sorry, I slept like the dead. Are you going to work?" Ivory answered with a nod from Max. The man sat down near Ivory, who had risen after wrapping the blanket around her chest. It must have been Max who put that thing on her when she fell asleep last night. After reaching their 'release', she felt drained and sleepy, then unconsciously closed her eyes. "I'll keep my promise." The man handed Ivory a brown envelope. "I'm not paying you as a prostitute; consider this a form of gratitude." "What about the curse?

"Are you stalking me?" accused Max, which made Ivory splutter. "What? Me? Stalking you? What's in it for me, sir? You've given me what you promised; that's more than enough for me!" "Yes, just in case you want to hold me responsible for taking your virginity. Women these days are often unreasonable." Max grumbled, then went back to his work. "When you're done, you can return to your place!" he ordered coldly. Ivory looked at Max for a moment. The man was so arrogant and heartless, whereas a few hours ago, he was gentle with her and didn't show his arrogance. Ivory didn't want to talk much. She quickly finished her work and left her boss's room. The girl returned the equipment to its original place while grumbling. She deeply regretted her stupidity in helping that haughty man to escape the curse and give up her virginity. "If only I could have thought last night. I wouldn't have to face the problems I'm facing now," she muttered regretfully. "What made me agree to help an arroga

Ivory hurriedly packed up her things, as she no longer intended to live at the same place. She could still hear the growls and shouts of her boss before she left the office, and she made sure not to return to that place again. She was afraid that Max would find her and ask her to come back to work. Well ... that was just Ivory's thoughts that would probably never happen. An arrogant man like Max would never need someone like her. Even if Max looks for and asks for something from Ivory, Ivory will make sure never to give a chance to that man. She didn't want to get hurt for the umpteenth time. Just as Ivory was about to leave, her cell phone rang so loudly that she rushed to answer the call before someone outside her house heard the sound of her cell phone. Don't let anyone know her whereabouts. "Ivy, where are you?" asked the caller on the other line. Ivory knew who was calling her—Jane, of course. The girl wouldn't be able to get easy if Ivory weren't in her presence for a momen

Max wandered. No! His destination was, of course, home. He had to see the person who might save him from the sin he had committed. He had killed the girl. Ivory must have died from falling into the cold, deep sea. Plus, with the height between the bridge and the sea, there was no way her body wouldn't have been blown away. Even if the girl survived, she would probably suffer a concussion and memory loss. However, it seemed better than losing her life. Max walked into the house, his clothes in tatters due to his haphazard and uncontrollable changes. He didn't understand why that had happened, but it was the truth. He was a monster now. Plus, he had killed a girl who had no part in his condition. "Mirielle! Where are you, Elle!" called Max, a worried look on his face. His twin sister, holed up in her room, jumped to her feet when Max finally burst into her personal space. "Jeez, Max! What are you doing in my room?" snapped Mirielle, annoyed by Max's presence. She almost poured the l

Ivory felt her heart beating wildly; her breathing rushed as she tried to destroy this strange thing that seemed to be attached to her body parts. She was a human, not a fish! However, why was she now not much different from what had just slipped into her head? Was it true that she was an aquatic creature that belonged to mythology, and no one would believe it existed?Mermaids were just a bedtime story. It was hard for her to believe she was part of a mythological creature, just like Max, a werewolf!Ivory would never believe that! The girl got up; it was no longer the time to lament her fate because someone could have noticed her there. And with her current appearance, people would flock to make a spectacle of her or even take her to be skinned and made into dinner.Ivory shuddered at the thought of those horrible things happening to her. She had to hide immediately so that no one would see her.She moved by dragging her body away from the water to find a hiding place until someone

Max tried to trace Ivory's whereabouts the next day. Right under the bridge where he almost took her life. And indeed, he did. Ivory is no longer in this world. However, at least Max was able to find her body. It could be in the ocean or anywhere around where he was standing right now. Max could have asked his sister Mirielle for help to confirm Ivory's whereabouts and whether the girl was alive or dead. However, since last night Mirielle had been reluctant to say anything about Ivory despite Max's urging. Mirielle knew everything, but she always kept it to herself. And the girl didn't like being called psychic. "Where are you, Ivory?" Max muttered to himself. He kept walking along the coastline until he saw something that convinced him that Ivory had indeed been there. The clothes Ivory had worn last night were torn to shreds, but Max remembered the color that matched the girl's skin and hair. Ivory's skin color was pale white with a blush on both cheeks, with silver hair that s

"I'll keep this thing. You don't need to ask about that girl anymore, Max. You've caused a lot of trouble for many people; you know that?" Mirielle grumbled, knowing that her brother had come back to see her confirm some metal-like pieces that were slightly unusual in color.Mirielle could have found out about the object or even about Ivory. But she didn't. It wasn't that easy. She already knew what had happened to Max, which made her keep looking for the girl. And Mirielle was sure that if she helped Max, he would end up causing trouble again."Why do you have such a heart for your sister, Elle?! I know you must already know where Ivory is."Mirielle turned her body around and fixed her gaze on the kiwi-colored bead of the man before her, then continued to look at him without being distracted. That was Mirielle's intention, to intimidate Max into coming clean about what he had done to the girl."I-I was following what grandmother Ange said. The silver-haired girl, Ivory, is the one.

It doesn't matter who the man named Benjamin is who is now holding Ivory to be his captive. Because the most important thing right now is that the man treats Ivory very well. Even too good when compared to Max's treatment of her. Especially after the man managed to return Ivory's legs, the girl felt very grateful. "Why are you being nice to me? What do you want?" asked Ivory, still with a skeptical tone that would not go away even with Benjamin's kind treatment. She would still ask about the origins of the charming-looking man. "I am your sweet dream, Ivy. You need not worry; I will not hurt you." Ivory still couldn't believe what Benjamin said to her. She focused on the man to find the truth in his sparkling eyes. "You must have a bad intention to me. Tell me!" Benjamin chuckled. "Do you think that way? It is fine if you think so. However, you can prove it later." The man paused as they arrived at the doorstep of a room that looked so special. "Come on in; the party is about

A few years later..."Do you believe that, Max? Look at our children! They're eighteen now and—oh! Did you go through this too? What age did you turn into an adult?" asked Ivory when she realized the twins, Isaac and Mackenzie, had turned eighteen at five.Max laughed at Ivory's innocent comment. He then took her in his arms and gave her a quick peck on the lips. "At the age of three, I turned eighteen and underwent training from grandpa to accept his title as an alpha Alsenic pack. Didn't you experience that?""Do I look like a magical human like you guys?" asked Ivory, which was answered with laughter by Max."Well, that means we're very far apart in age. You should be older than me. Is that right?" Ivory nodded, then turned to Isaac and Mackenzie, who had finished breakfast. "But the fact is, you're still stunning as you're not aging.""I'm old now, Max." Ivory smiled and turned back to her children.Today both of them would enter the university. "Now, what do you want?" asked Linea, hardening her tone. She screamed angrily. "I've followed all your orders! You said you wanted to get Ivy's blood to strengthen our power?! Why are you holding her captive now?! You said to build a mansion, especially for this woman?! Have you gone mad?! You broke your promise, Seth!"Seth laughed bitterly. He was still gripping Ivory's body in his arms. They slowly walked backward. "Who do you think you are, Linea?! Controlling or controlling me?! I told you many times not to be silly! It felt like she wanted to kick Seth's ass right now, but what power did she have. Seth's strength was too strong to resist. The more Ivory rebelled-the more Seth strangled her.Linea shook her head. She had considered it, thinking about Benjamin's words earlier with a long decision. It led Ivory to the absolute path, agreeing to her deal with Benjamin. Ivory knew her decision was crazy. Triggering Max's most enormous anger, but what's the power? Ivory had no choice but to save Lyra's life and her little family and end this grueling war."I'm sorry, babies. I'm just tired of all this bloodshed, fighting, and endless infighting. Maybe through my sacrifice, this war can be stopped. All Seth wants is me, not Lyra. "Are you sure? Don't you have anything to say?" asked Max, whose words seemed to go straight into Ivory's heart. Max looked at Ivory tenderly, stroking her beautiful Lunar face lovingly. It was the umpteenth time Max had asked that question. As an eternal partner, Max probably thought it. Then, Ivory smiled widely. She shook her head lightly. Not tired of showing the same big-hearted attitude. "What do you mean? I don't understand what you're talking about. I've said it many times to you. I'm fine. Just tired of all this.
