Kirsten bit her lower lip to stop herself from sobbing. To shield her eyes from seeing the image of the two from the side mirror, she cast her gaze down her lap.

“Take me to Horizon Residences,” Kirsten said.

Not in the position to speak about the situation, Tony swallowed his words and just gave Kirsten a sympathetic gaze. He was wondering how she could cope with the situation.

Tony noticed the familiar car tailing them and surreptitiously reduced his speed. As they stopped at a red light and waited for the green light, the rear passenger door opened and a man in a gray suit slid into the car.

At once Kirsten scooted further to the other end of the car avoiding Matthew. Chuckling, he reached out and pulled her in his warm embrace as she tried to open the car door. But, Tony had locked it to avoid an accident.
