CHAPTER 5

"So something happened to both of you?" asked Chris's raised voice. Shocked. 

“Unbelievable." He whispers. He couldn't think of Jayson doing something like that after he heard everything. 

Jayson narrated the happenings to him last night. The woman he slept with. The girl who first hurt him. 

Chris is now laughing at him after he says that the girl managed to hurt him. He also said— that the woman threatened him that she would not forgive him. He will die.

"You're stupid Jayson. A woman made you kneel?" Chris immediately looked at him in shock. He is still in shock until now. 

He looked closely at Jayson's appearance as he spoke and told stories. "What? He also said— you die? Why does she want to kill you?" Chris laughed bitterly. He was more excited to hear Jayson's other story about that girl who made his friend kneel. 

He mocked Jayson. He just looked at him without moving. He didn't even argue with him to defend himself. 

Chris thinks that his friend is hypnotized by that girl. Whoever that girl is. She's lucky. Chris whispered as he couldn't get out of his mind. Brutal Jayson Williams has been knockdown by one woman. Impossible. He laughs. 

He couldn't help but laugh at Jayson as he asked this question. "How strong is she Jayson? For that girl to beat you up and hurt you? So that he can make you weak and useless in front of her?" he added from what he says. 

"I am so sorry. I just can't imagine you worshiping a woman. It is only now you did it your whole life. The cruel Jayson—" he shook his head. "Why did you agree? Don't you know what she did to you is another big insult?" Chris also asked, curious about Jayson's answer. "It's her fault, isn't it? Why did you agree to blame yourself? Wasn't she the one who showed the motive and offered her virginity to you so something could happen to both of you?" Chris's voice rose. He couldn't stop himself from mocking Jayson. 

"Is a woman's charm that strong? Huh, Jayson! To give up immediately?" Chris asked sarcastically. He pointed his pointed snout at Jayson's manhood. Jayson looked down at his body. He followed what Chris was pointing at. Chris grinned. He also cursed. He never stopped mocking and laughing at Jayson.

Even though he's just an assistant to Jayson. Chris dares to mock and tempt Jayson. Because he had the right to do that.

It's not just because he's just Jayson's assistant. They treat each other as best friends. 

They are close friends with Jayson. He has known Jayson since he was a child. Sometimes he asked himself how they got along and became friends. Because their relationship was far away when they first met. It can be remembered that he and Jayson rolled around in the grass while fighting. 

Chris also remembers that Jayson always teased him when they were kids. Reason for them to roll over on the grass while fighting. 

He also tweaked Jayson then. Reason to send them to the principal's office. Their parents were also summoned to report what happened to them. But when they grow up. It was like magic that they both got along. Chris doesn't remember where their friendship started. They also went through a lot. If he tries to remember it one by one, surely, a thick book can be written. In the many events in them as friends.

"Yes, I know I'm doing something wrong. You're too bad to laugh at me! I know my mistake in what happened. But can I blame her for not getting angry? She is drunk. I'm a boy. I was in my right mind at the time but I did it anyway and agreed to her seductive and passionate insistence on offering me his virginity so that something would happen to us."

"Admit it to me. Do you like her?"

"Yes," he immediately answered his friend's question without thinking. There is no reason for him not to answer and think more. He likes and loves Eloisa. The truth is that he already knows a lot about her personality and Eloisa's family of origin. 

He knew that Eloisa came from a rich family. Big contrast to him. Because he and his family also started a poor life. They only got rich when his parents worked hard selling Japanese foods like sushi. 

His parents' homemade sushi made them rich. His parents saved money that they used to build a Japanese restaurant. Until it grew stronger and sprouted many branches. To this day it is still what keeps them alive. His parents' restaurant. 

His parents were really lucky. Even he is lucky. Because except for the restaurant he manages. He also built a company that he founded with his own money. 

His business is a construction company. Because he graduated from the civil engineering course. While Chris is architecture. He thought of setting up a business that he and Chris would manage. They are the owners. 

While he managed his business with Chris. He also focuses on his parents' restaurant. He also helps them manage their many branches of Japanese restaurants.

“Oh my god, as I thought." He seems to look didn't surprised while he reacts to the answer of his friend. 

He came closer to Jayson's desk. 

He sat on the chair without his friend's permission. 

He and Jayson were in the office when someone knocked. Chris's secretary. 

"Sir, you have a phone call," said the woman peeking at the door as it opened slightly.

"Okay, please say I'm on my way," Chris responded to the female secretary. Then he turned his gaze to Jayson. "Let's talk later. Think carefully about what you're getting into. Be sure of your own never- you will not be punished for what you did!"

"Is that a threat?" he asked before Chris left his office. 

Chris was about to leave to address the secretary's phone call. But— he looked at Jayson first and then said. "It's up to you!" grins

He sighed at what Chris said. 

Chris smiled thinly before completely turning away after saying. "Okay, I'll leave," said, and said again. “Think carefully so you don't make a mistake. You said it. You are the man among both of you. But, if you are sure that you like her and I think you are also sure of what you entered. Okay, I agree with your decision. Just don't get stuck in the end." Chris said before closing the door to his office.
