120. A Childish Surprise

"That incompetent guy .... Does he think he is more powerful because he funds a project with me?" Edmund grumbled.

After a snort, he took out his phone. He wanted to call Alice, but he was afraid that Sky would be disappointed a second time. So, he hurried back to the table. He realized he had to be more assertive.

"Mr. Cage, where is your president?" Edmund asked, sounding a little annoyed.

The man across the table checked his phone. "Sorry for your inconvenience, Sir. They will arrive in two minutes. We can immediately process the signing as soon as they arrive."

Edmund's brows furrowed deeper. He wondered why the man said "they". Was the president of Elles Investment more than one person? Or did the driver count too?

"I hope you don't forget that my time is limited. If your president is not here in five minutes, I have to leave the contract without signing."

Mr. Cage nodded. "Understood, Sir."

How much longer are the writers or writer intend on playing with us with this storyline of Giselle and the mother with the stupid ploy of taking advantage of Edmund and his wife and child this is not entertaining remind me not to choose this author again ...
