Chapter 28 No Planning To Get Married.

Lewis succinctly stated, "Two days, to inspect the project, the Blue Mountain project in Pulu City, there are discrepancies in the accounts."

Judy understood; the Blue Mountain project was supervised by Lewis's Uncle Bard. Discrepancies in the accounts definitely couldn't be investigated openly; they could only make an unannounced visit.

Judy didn't say anything more.

They drove out of the city and soon got onto the highway.

As a subordinate, Judy sat in the passenger seat while her boss drove; she felt slightly awkward about it.

The two didn't speak throughout the trip, and the silence was somewhat oppressive.

Judy noticed some water in the glove compartment and tried to make conversation: "Sir, would you like some water?"

"No need."

Judy silently put the mineral water back and glanced at the dashboard; the speed had reached 130 km/h. The car was steady, as if everything was under his control.

Lewis was that kind of person, tactical and in control of everything.
