John knew Judy was at the pizza shop, so he went to find her, have lunch, and ask about the birthmark.

"Judy, do you have any birthmarks or anything like that?" John asked.

"Yes, I have a blue birthmark on my waist, shaped like a crescent moon. I've had it since I was born," Judy replied.

"Really?" John felt a knot in his stomach. This could mean that the person Lillian was looking for, mentioned by Bob, was very likely Judy.

Just as John was about to ask Judy if she knew Lillian, Avery approached and said, "Judy, Lillian is here again. She wants to have lunch with you."

Hearing Lillian's name, John became even more certain that this Lillian was Judy's mother. She had come to see Judy multiple times, which must have been to confirm her identity.
