Chapter 207 Loan Agreement

Hearing that Judy had agreed to help, Susan was overjoyed. The heavy debt that had been weighing on her was lifted in an instant. "Judy, thank you," Susan said, but she didn't truly mean it in her heart.

To Judy, a sum of over a million was nothing. She had made Susan beg on her knees before agreeing to lend the money. Susan perceived all of this as Judy deliberately humiliating her and vowed that one day she would make Judy kneel and beg as well.

Judy did not immediately give Susan the money; the debt collectors had set a three-day deadline, and it wasn't time yet. After leaving Susan's house, Judy first called John: "John, do you know about Susan's debts?"

"You already know?" John said, "Susan told you?"

"Susan called me. The debt collectors are at her home asking for money." Judy said, "Such a big matter, why did you hide it from me before?"

"I didn't want you to worry," John asked, "Did you promise to help Susan pay back the money?"
