"Captain…" Cynthia decided not to dwell on the previous matter. Instead, she had another question on her mind. "I remember we're getting our marriage certificate in two days, right?"

"I'm glad you remembered."

"Go ahead."

"When you proposed, you mentioned intrigued at first sight, growing interest on the second, and love at third sight. What did you mean by that?" Cynthia made it clear that she wanted an answer.

Matthew knew what she was up to, but he chose to let her figure it out on her own. "The 'first sight' is related to a watch."

Cynthia was puzzled, wondering why he mentioned the watch again. Then, she asked, "When?"

"Think about it."

"If you don't tell me, Riley and Gaby might cause trouble on that day."

This was a threat. However, Cynthia seemed to have forgotten that Matthew would not be easily intimidated. Instead, he calmly looked at her, asking, "Are you threatening me?"
