"Yes." Cynthia nodded.

"Well, go ahead and tell me. What's my nickname?" Matthew thought she was trying to scare him and smiled charmingly.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Daisy," Cynthia blurted out.

Tracy had said that Matthew did not like that nickname as it was obviously a girl's, and he forbade anyone from using it after he turned five. He even got into a fight with Zayn over it.

Tracy had meant to name her daughter Daisy as she loved daisies and their meaning. Besides, Matthew was such a pretty boy that many often mistook him for a girl when he was younger. Hence, Tracy thought it was harmless to use the name of him.

Matthew froze, but he quickly regained his composure. Then, he asked, "My mom really told you?"

"Mmhmm." Cynthia nodded, gauging his mood. "Auntie Tracy said she would've named her daughter Daisy, and she only called you that because you were a good-looking kid, often mistaken for a girl."
