Joshua's heart sank, and he did not say anything more, just walking downstairs.

Moses did not ask what had happened between them or if they needed his help. If there were something he could do, Joshua would let him know.

"Joshua," Moses called out to him, taking long strides to catch up.

Joshua's mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Cynthia.

"What is it?"

"If you don't start chasing after her properly, Cynthia will never become my sister-in-law," Moses reminded him.

Joshua glared at Moses.

Did he really need Moses to remind him?

"Do you want me to help you pursue her?" Moses enjoyed the spectacle, but in the end, Joshua was his brother. "I can make her like you again, or at least not dislike you."

Joshua felt even more disdain for him.

How was that considered pursuing someone?

He decisively refused, "No need."

"Are you sure?" Moses asked again.
