"Why are you still here?" Yves glanced at the carefree and smiling Sean. Then, he added disdainfully, "Get out."

"I have nowhere else to go," Sean replied pitifully.

Yves did not care. "That's your problem; it has nothing to do with me."

"But how can it have nothing to do with you? What will you do if I end up sleeping on the streets and accidentally get run over by a car? Won't it be too late to regret then?" Sean said, sounding genuinely concerned.

Yves felt that this guy was becoming more theatrical by the minute.

"Just let me stay here. After all, you have so many bedrooms. "Letting me stay here won't make a difference," Sean continued persistently.

"Get out," Yves repeated.

Sean plopped on the sofa, obviously hinting that if Yves wanted him out, he would have to carry him out himself.

"Uncle Yves, why don't you let him stay here?" Suzie thought she should assist Sean a little. After all, she liked helping other couples. "It would be livelier with one more person around."
