Do what I said, don't question", I shrugged. "And prepare a shooting court too"

"Okay, bhaai", he shook his head.

"I'm going to the office today. I literally didn't pay attention to the tobacco business for ages", I told him.

"You forgot that you're the CEO of Harris Tobacco Firms?", he chuckled.

"I remember, Shabbir", I got up, settling my hands into the pockets. "Take care of her", I said, looking back at the door.

"Yes, bhaai"

I walked out of the quarter to attend the office today.

*

By the evening, I reached the quarter again. It was an exhausting day. I was almost struggling to attend all the pending meetings while bearing all the fucking wounds. Finally, the new drugs contract with Arben had come to an end. The deal was worth billions and the only hope to get my mom's palace back. The whole quarter was empty that evening as I had assigned everyone to prepare for tomorrow.

AbrahamWhen I woke up the next morning, I strived to hug Amayra but wherever my hand reached she wasn't there. I opened my eyes right away and remembered that I fell asleep last night before she came to the room. Didn't she come to sleep the whole night? As I pondered, getting up from the bed, my eyes stuck straight in front of the mirror. She was combing her wet hairs, a towel draping around her body, water drops scattered all over her bare shoulder and thighs, glistening like Pearls. For a moment, I felt like to hug her from behind and inhale the fresh scent. She glanced at me through the mirror. I unknowingly smiled at her as she nibbled her bottom lip, looking down. I knew she must be fucking arrogant right then to call me, but her gestures are literally inviting me to come close to her.Getting up from the bed, I walked towards her. She lifted her head, our gazes meeting through the mirror, my eyes lingering around her dusky skin with the water drop

AbrahamWait! No! I screamed into my mind. I was misleading her or she was uttering rubbish. My body iced right there as I jerked myself."What the fuck!", I groaned, glaring at her."I saw her last night near Wagon number 13. You can ask any of the guards. And it was the same wagon she was staying with Amelia before", she spoke. "And to be very honest Abraham, she can move the whole cupboard. It's not a big deal for her. Just think"My mind took me back to the past moments."I'm not feeling sleepy. I wanna stroll here for a while""Don’t trust me so much, my bittersweet gangsta. Maybe one day I can be the reason for your sleepless nights”"Moreover, only she has a strong motive to work against you. She was here to destroy this deal. Don't forget that", she added."We're not sure. What if she didn't", Victor said."She is the granddaughter of our enemy and we all know that why she was h

  • Mr. Mafia, On Your Knees   36. Can't resist her

AbrahamHer broken voice was echoing in my head when I was trying my best to sleep on the couch. She never cried and pleaded like this before me. I couldn't forget her swollen face and the fucking way I behaved with her. It was the first time I used my strength on her which was not letting me sleep peacefully.Ab-Abraham. I'm telling the truth. I didn't do anything. Please trust me.I closed my eyes tightly, clutching my hairs to forget all this, her voice, her pleadings, the way she begged to trust her. Why did it matter to her if I didn't trust her? Why did she even care? Why did she want me to trust her so badly? She could push me away, places a few punches, fire back at me instead she wanted me to trust her.My head was being heavy with every passing second. I looked at the bed. However, I wasn't feeling like sleeping on that bed. Alone! Three days. Three damn days she slept in my arms like a comforter, a stress buster. I could sense the peace,

Abraham"Abraham, at least say something", Shabbir spat as he passed me the lemonade. I was having a terrible headache. Maybe I had too much last night. "You got drunk? Bhaai really? You hardly drink. That too half a peg", he blurted out."Just shut up, Shabbir", I groaned, gulping the lemonade."How's Amayra? Did she fall sick?", Victor asked."Really, Vick?", Eisha crossed her arms, standing in the corner. "You're concerned about her? She literally caused a huge loss to us. I can't understand how Abraham has spared her so easily. And then you were carrying her in your arms, making her sleep in the blanket on your bed?"She made a disgustful face but halted midway as I glared at her, clenching my jaw."Abraham! Now you'll show your anger upon us for that girl?""Shut..... Up", I groaned in a cold tone, enough to stop her from speaking nonsense about Amayra. "I'm here to deal with her. You don't need to advise me on what to do o

AbrahamThe next moment, she was gone, stumbling and tripping over. My eyes were steady at the exit door and my heart burnt. For her! Something deep I could feel. And I fucking understood she was becoming my addiction, worst addiction."Finally!", Eisha sighed. "Now can we move back to work if we are done with this girl and her dramas"I lifted my eyes and gazed at her, balling my fists, my jaw was automatically clenched; I felt my blood shimmering and putting fuel in my wrath."Why are you looking at me like this?", Eisha raised her eyebrows. "After whatever she did, she deserves the backlash. And you're behaving as we should worship her""Why?", I husked."What?", she looked confused."What was the need, Eisha? For doing all this", I asked in a calm voice."What.....what did I do?", she stammered, nervous."You know what I meant, Eisha. Now come to the point. Why? Was your jealousy bigger than your loy

AbrahamAgain? You're drinking much. Consecutive second day", Shabbir frowned at the door. I didn't look back at him and gulped another one."What happened, Abraham?", he held my shoulder, giving a squeeze. "I can't understand what you're doing. Why did you behave like this to Amayra when you knew the truth?"I replied nothing to him, just kept finishing one peg after another. I made her involved with the same thing from which I wanted to save her. My love....Eight months ago,"I have a proposal for you, Abraham", Shashank said. Sitting in my office, we were about to discuss the new new deal of Portugal."What proposal?", I narrowed my eyebrows, taking a sip of my coffee."You may know Amayra", he said with a smirk.I paused right there, gaping at him. I didn't know why her name affected me so much at that moment, maybe because Shashank didn't know I had an interes

Amayra68, 69, 70.I stopped punching on the dupe, huffing and sweating, then checked the stopwatch. It took me 20 more than the actual time. I threw the watch and gloves away and laid down the ground, closing my eyes.I don't trust you!Why should I trust you?Leave!I don't wanna see your fucking face.Warm tears streamed down my cheeks as I opened my eyes, staring at the ceiling."Why Abraham? ShabbirWhen I was talking to Victor about how to resolve issues with Arben, we heard the sound of the door. We halted there, peering at 6 feet away from us. Abraham walked out of the room, hanging his head. He looked tired, frustrated and broken! He held the railings of the corridor, keeping his head down. My eyes were on him."You're thinking the same?", Victor asked, his eyes on him too."Hmm", I muffled."He is stupid in this type of things. Really! Why did he deliberately cause all this? Now Amayra will hate him even more", he shrugged."I hope it won't cause him a problem", I said."It will, Shabby. He doesn't deserve her hatred when he is doing every possible thing to keep her safe and happy", he said, looking at Abraham.Abraham was panting near the corridor, then he walked a bit towards the rocking chair and pushed himself down, covering his face with his both hands."See! My whole body got completely numb, sensing the blunder that was almost near to destroying our happiness in a second. I stood still, breathing heavily."Are you okay? Ha? Are you hit actually?" Abraham's hands came together, cupping my face as I nodded. His voice was shaking and he was scanning me well."I'm fine," I gulped. He pulled my wrist and took me in a deep embrace. Amayra I climbed down the stairs. Abraham might have followed me but I didn't want him to come. He would stop me anyhow even if he was saying I could do anything to Eisha. He didn't know to what extent I could go for him. If I can get myself into a blast, if I can give my everything to him, I could do every fucking impossible thing for him. The living room was still filled with the lively voices of all. As I went there, I saw everyone except Eisha. I frowned and rolled my eyes. Did that bitch run away before I came? She better be. "Amayra!," Amelia called me, her eyes tense. "Where have you been? Where's bhaai? He left the conversation midway" "He's coming. Where's Eisha? Did she leave?," I gritted my teeth,

Amayra "You can't be serious", I mumbled, rolling my eyes, continued to scan his reactions well. I wanted him to tease me. He was teasing me! That was it. It's not true. He licked his lips, dropping his gaze, his grip around me was being tighter as if he wanted to hold me tight so that I didn't lash out. "It's true. She is working with me now", he lifted his guilty gaze at me, leaving me out of words. I wondered how to reach. Should I get mad or keep calm? My inside was churning out with the thought of him and Eisha being together. The flashes of that night came in front of me. She was so close to him. He was mumbling my name and attempting to kiss her, assuming her to be me. I couldn't forget the view when that bitch had touched his bare chest. The place, the man whom I could touch only! She fucking touched what was mine. What is mine! I squeezed my eyes shut to forget that damn view, clutching his arms tightly

Amayra "Well, the venue is awesome, aunty. A palace wedding. I can't believe it", Dhruv beamed. "I always wanted that palace to be the venue for my kid's wedding", mom smiled. They were seated, occupying the couch and looking at some venue photographs. "Oh! That means I'm also going to have my wedding here?", Amelia cracked up. "Only if the groom agrees", mom said. "And you still don't have a groom", Abraham laughed. "You'll have one soon", Eisha said, laughing with Abraham. Fucking hell! Was it a nightmare? It had to be. How dare she come to my house? And how dare she sit near him? My blood was blotching when I was gawking at Eisha and Abraham. And the fucking distance of two inches between them. Pathetic! A pathetic feeling! My nerves started to shake as I held the wall to have a balance on myself. "Amayra, you woke up?", mom's voice forced me to be normal and pa

Abraham Fucking shit! Was she serious? She gotta be kidding me. "Are you serious, Amelia?", I scowled at her. Amayra didn't speak. How would she? She was practising to be an ideal, shy girl nowadays? "Too serious, bhaai. Since it's an Indian Hindu tradition. We should include Amayra's culture too, right? At least, some rituals could be followed. So, mom asked her to stay in my room. It's not good to meet before the wedding", she said while whispering. I had nothing to say. I just looked at Amayra. She pressed her lips only. I would miss her. "Okay, leave", I shrugged. "I'll send her" "Aha! You'll take hours to send her. I don't believe you", Amelia said. I had nothing to do but frown at her. "Amelia, I'll change my clothes first. You go", Amayra said. I controlled my smile, looking down. "Sure. But come fast", Amelia left the room as I immediately grabbed Amayra's waist and smashed her against my

Abraham I was numb for a moment, gawking at her in disbelief, out of words. She was stammering and I could see how nervous she was. But more than her, I was feeling restless. I looked at the cheque again. "Where did you get so much money? I mean your company has been seized too", I mumbled, looking down, ignoring eye contact with her. I didn't know how she got to know about my problem but I was more concerned about her. What did she do to bring such a huge amount? "It's not from the company. I don't have anything that belongs to Shashankveer Mehta. His money, his property", she said. "I left them behind. But— this is all I had" I forced my eyes to look at her. She was looking away. Not at me. "My hard work of last sixteen years. I had an account where I used to save all I won from tournaments. Basically, I started earning more when I participated in the premier leagues. I had been the highest-paid athlete for five years and the amount was huge

Abraham I pushed my eyelids to open though I was still feeling sleepy. We came late last night and I couldn't help fucking her the entire night. A smile appeared on my face and I strived to hold her next to me. However, my hand couldn't reach her as I opened my eyes and didn't find her on the bed. Frowning, I sat up and rolled my eyes around while yawning. "Amayra", I called her. She didn't respond from any corner of the room. "Baby, are you in the washroom?" I walked into the washroom. She wasn't there too. She never woke up before me in the morning but today she was too quick and I didn't even know where she was. I came downstairs where Amelia and mom were discussing something, maybe about the wedding preparation. I saw Lily also sitting with them. "Good morning, bhaai", Amelia said with a smile. "Good morning. Where's Amayra?" "Amayra? She had left for the college early morning. Didn't she tell you?", mom said as I g
