Deceiving the Deceptors.

Daniella woke to the sound of a car pulling up outside her house. Peeking through the curtains, she spotted the familiar black van parked by the curb. Anxiety gripped her chest as she hurriedly gathered her essentials and dashed downstairs. Her heart's in her mouth, she can't run away, she's pretty much trapped, trapped doing something she absolutely doesn't want to.

The men in black suits were already at her doorstep, impassive as ever. One of them even nodded curtly, or maybe as a joke as she approached. "Daniella, please come with us. We have a flight to catch. We have to hurry."

Flight? Daniella's mind raced. Somehow, she had thought they would have left her alone or something. Maybe it was just a late June prank, a massive one. Maybe it was all just a dream and she needed to wake up. But... It doesn't seem like it anymore. She entered into the car obediently and sat down, even having enough courage to wound down the window to let the breeze of San Francisco hit her in the face.
