Dashing in and out.

For the first time in a long time, she wakes up to the bright morning sun, in her eyes, but just perfect enough that it isn't burning into her eyelids the way she usually wakes to on park benches or street way benches where she usually passes the night.

For someone that's supposed to be in school, she watches all of her mates as they live their lives without any worries, at least, not the type that makes them run from one place to another because they say every human, no matter how little or or stupid or inconsequential what they are dealing with is, it's still a worry.

She pushes back the duvet and makes her way into the bathroom to freshen up for day. She looks through her small bag and finds a sundress in there. She smiles at it.

She's not had any reason to wear something like that but now, it looks like it's a new dawn so she can try to live again. She puts it on and picks up her slightly worn bag and makes to leave, her destination? Her mother's grave.
