Jaylene paused, lifted her gaze, and saw Grace and Darcie standing in front of her with a suspicious expression. She was bewildered, not knowing why they would be at Cotton Rose Restaurant. 'Aren't they supposed to be at The Deli?' she wondered.

Grace wore a mocking expression as she glanced at the stern-faced Darcie with a smirk. "Your daughter said she's sick, but instead of going to the hospital, she looked for a man to take care of her. It seems like she can't live without throwing herself at a man, huh?

"If she's not interested in marrying into the Depp family, you can just say so. There's no need to lie to Aaron and make him foolishly wait for nothing!"
