CHAPTER 3

Molly Richards

I left Eva alone and headed to my English class. After a while the teacher entered the class and taught us about Concords. I paid full attention to the teacher.

The bell rang and we all left the class. I went to Physics class to see if Eva is still there but she isn't.

"Hey have you seen Eva," I asked a girl

"If by Eva you mean the girl who your brother pranked then, she is in the washroom" she replied and left.

Just then I got a notification on my phone, it is a video. I played it and bursted into laughter but quickly comported myself, so they both pranked each other.

I paused the video and just then, it dawned on me,

'That girl said she was in the washroom,' I quickly checked the time of the video. It was 45 minutes ago - a whole period. She should be through by now.

I rushed to the washroom and slammed the door open, and rushed to the female's washroom and opened the first door I saw. Strangely, it was locked and heard someone say out of frustration,

"This one is taken, you can use the next one but when you are through help me notify Molly that I am here." 

I recognized the voice to be Eva's voice

"Eva, it's me Molly," I said, only then did she open the door.

Her skin was so fresh, spotless and glowing. I bursted into laughter and she said,

"Why are you standing there laughing instead of you helping me."

"Sorry, it's just that you turned the bathroom curtain into a towel." I bursted into another round of laughter.

"Ok just stay here, I'll go get you spare clothes." I said and was about leaving when she stopped me,

"Your brother is in the male's section." 

"Ohh you mean Xander, I should probably get him some clothes as well." I said 

"Ok hurry up," she urged and I rushed to my locker.

I took some clothes for Eva, I thought of the clothes I should give Xander,

"Hey Molly, have you seen your brother around? We have been looking for him?" Troy - one of my brother's friend and my crush said,

"You haven't seen the video? He is in the washroom and I need clothes for him." I explained,

"Really? Come on let's go" he said and held my hands as we ran to his locker

As he joined our hands, I felt electric shock run down my spine and up again.

We got there and he opened his locker, brought out some clothes- a black hoodie and black pants. Just what my brother wears— black.

"Come on," he said and headed to the washroom and I followed.

When we got there I ran to the female's washroom leaving him to deal with Xander and knocked on the door Eva was in. 

"It's taken," she said 

"It's me, now open the door," only then did she open the door. I gave her the clothes - a simple floral gown. 

"Ohh thank you," she quickly grabbed the clothes from me and closed the door. I was waiting out when she finally opened the door and on our way out she threw the sponge and soap she used in the trash bin. 

We got to the male's washroom. From a distance I could hear Troy laughing. Eva giggled beside me, I tried to ignore it and rushed to where Xander and Troy were in anticipation to know what happened.

When I got to them, I couldn't really notice anything wrong until Xander raised his head up. I couldn't help but burst into laughter so that's why Eva giggled. He is fully red from head to tail. Eva was laughing so hard she sat on the tiled floor.

Xander turned to me and gritted out in anger,

"You think this is funny don't you? This little witch you call a friend did this to me." I quickly clamped my lips together,

"The new colour suits you well." I tried to compliment him but it came out all wrong. He lunged at me but was held back by Troy.

"This is not over," he said pointing at Eva who was still seated on the floor mocking his every move.

He left the washroom and Troy followed so did I. His head was down throughout and lucky for him there was no student on the passage. He took the entrance that led outside and entered his car, so did Troy and drove away.

'He drove away leaving me all to myself. But he got what he deserved didn't he?' I thought and entered my car and followed him.

Eva Luna

I felt kinda sad for him but I didn't show it. Maybe I went too far.

"What do I do now?" I muttered,

I just went outside and found no traces of them then drove home.

When I got home, I saw my mom,

"Honey, is anything wrong? You are home early," she asked, already worried.

"Nothing mom, I'm fine." I replied.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" She asked

"I pranked a boy in school who started the prank war and now I am feeling the pain he is meant to be feeling." I explained

"Honey, everything would be fine." She hugged me tightly; that motherly hug that could repair a broken heart.

After some while of discussing with my mom, I felt better.

"So honey I want you to deliver a gift to my friend later today," she said.

"Mom why? The maids can do it." I asked incredulously.

"I know. I want you to go because she hasn't seen you in a long while and I am sure she would be happy to see you so, please go get ready." She explained.

"Alright mom, I'll go." I agreed.

I went to my room, had my bath and wore a white, skin fitted, knee length gown with sneakers. I combed my hair and left it unpacked and applied a little makeup. I looked at myself once again and smiled then went outside.

"Mom, I am ready." I hollered

"Ohh honey you look absolutely stunning," she complimented as she gave me the gift and a card with the address had been written on it.

"Thanks Mom." I smiled

"Alright, hurry along," she said and gave me a parting hug.

I entered my car following the address on the card.

I arrived at a very big mansion. I started having bad feelings when I drove through the private route. The only private routes that led to a big mansion deep inside the whole estate.

Driving up to the private big mansion, I sighted a guy in one of the windows. When I looked closer, I knew it was red Xander with no doubt in my mind.

'Is he the son of my mom's friend,' I thought as I packed my car in an empty space. 

Shit! I shouldn't have agreed to come.

I wiped my sweating hands on my gown. I seriously don't understand why I am sweating? I mean Xander can't kill me, it's his mom who I came to see, so why am I so scared and nervous of knocking.

I stood at the door for a while with the gift, my hands were aching.

I pressed the doorbell before anyone would come out and find me cowering behind the door.

After a while, the door opened. A beautiful young looking woman opened the door and gave me a warm smile.

"Welcome, you must be Eva - Lucille's daughter. Wow, you are looking more beautiful than the last time I saw you." She embraced me in a warm hug. 

"Thank you ma and you very beautiful." I complimented her

"Awwn, thank you. Please come in," she led the way.

'Now I know where Molly got her niceness from. Xander is just the opposite,' I thought

Dutifully, I followed her. She led me through a long hall and finally we arrived at the sitting room.

Their sitting was very big, well lighted and ventilated, it had big comfortable looking couches, a marble table in the the couches, a big Hisense Roku TV plastered on the wall, portraits which frames where made of gold and many more

"My mom said I should give you this." I handed the gift to her

"She is so thoughtful, tell her thank you on my behalf," she said

"Please do have a seat," she added.

"Xander! Xander," she called

"Yes Mom." he answered coming down the stairs

I couldn't help but laugh silently because he is still red.

"Do you remember my friend - Lucille?" She questioned

"Yeah somehow," he answered, ignoring me.

"Well this is her daughter," she smiled

"Ohh, nice to meet you," he said without even looking at me and left.

"Sorry about that, he is just…. I don't know. Tell me about you." She said

Xander Richards

I know I ignored her, well I thought it was fun and besides I have a prank in place for her. It is going to be so good but first I'll wait for this paint to wash off.

My phone rang and I picked it up

"Hey Xander I thought you wouldn't pick." Genna said and I imagined her pouting.

Genna is my favorite slut, I call her and she comes, her calling me wasn't part of the agreement.

"What do you want?" I asked getting angry already

"So it's true?" She said

"What's true?" I asked

"Oh please don't deny it. It's true that you and that bimbo are dating huh. You guys are just pretending to hate each other. Let me make this crystal clear, you are my man and always will be. No stupid bitch can come between us and if they want to" she paused then continued, "I'll remove them from the picture" 

"I don't get…" She ended the call before I could finish speaking.

"Who the hell does she think she is?" I scoffed.
