Xavier's POV,

"What is it about?" I asked her, still in a calm tone but Gina was not taking it in an easy tone.

She seemed to be broken, like her heart had already shattered into a million pieces.

"What is it that you wanna ask Gina," I muttered under my breath, still in a cool tone, but tears just welled up in the corner of Gina's eyes.

"Ha…have you ever prayed for Mom's death before?" She stuttered in pain.

I knew it was stupid of her to ask that question, but it was her emotion that was speaking here; I could not blame her through her words.

I mean, she's in her mid-twenties, so it's all right.

"Have you?" She questioned me again and I was pulled out from my thoughts.

"Yeah?" I looked at her with a pitiful glance.

"Don't give me those eyes right now," her voice was coated in pain. "Just give answers to my question."
