I vividly recalled a situation where Almyra had told me of her love for paintings.

Even though I had snubbishly paid none of my attention towards her as always, I also found myself recalling all moments she herself would always initiate when we were still together.

I didn't know why but for some reason, I felt the sudden urge to get her the painting, especially when I found the enthusiasm that shone brightly in her eyes as she talked with the man beside her.

My blood boiled seeing them in that manner and I couldn't help but feel real jealous.

As if fate had planned to do me dirty, the same man had begun to bid against me.

Funny was when he had actually outbid me, which I let out a chuckle for. Of course, I have the money but if making her happy all around with herself for actually winning, plus, the item was hers anyway, making it the main reasons I hadn't continued the bidding too intense.
