The air was thick with tension. Although Ivy didn't agree with Cato Alter's words, she remained an outsider and didn't want to take sides or comment on their discussion.

As she watched the conversation between her classmates transition between financial news and gossip about elite families, she felt increasingly bored. Suddenly, she began to miss her patients at the clinic. She had hoped to get a good night's sleep tonight.

The patient who had just undergone surgery would probably be in pain tonight. She wondered if the young nurse had prepared a painkiller for him.

However, when she snapped out of her thoughts, she noticed that several male classmates had started smoking and were blowing out clouds of smoke. Ivy despised secondhand smoke and people who smoked, so she decided to check her phone for the time and prepare to leave.
