It was a sunny day at LaGuardia Airport, one of the biggest airports in New York City.
People could be seen walking in and out of the airport with their luggage.
Meanwhile, Amelia could also be seen walking out of the airport premises while dragging her luggage, and right beside her was Dave, who was holding her second free hand.
"Mummy, is Dad coming to pick us up?" Dave asked Amelia as they were walking out of the airport, but as Amelia was about to reply, she spotted Sarah, who was walking towards her while grinning ear to ear.
"And who do we have here?" Sarah asked Amelia as she got closer to her, and with that, she hugged her tightly.
"You don't know how much I have missed you," Sarah said to Amelia while hugging her.
"You don't know how much I have missed you too, bestie," Amelia said to her while hugging her back.
Disengaging from the hug, Sarah's gaze traveled to little Dave, who was standing beside Amelia.
Seeing him, the first person that came to her mind was Edward; he was the exact replica of his father.
"Hi, Aunty Sarah," Dave greeted Sarah as she squatted down to his height.
"Hey little one, we finally meet," Sarah said to him with a warm smile before caressing his cheeks.
"Amelia, your son stole all his father's genes; if not for his age, one might think that they are twin brothers," Sarah said to Amelia as she stood up.
"You are right, Sarah, I have noticed that too," Amelia said to Sarah with a warm smile.
"Aunty Sarah, did you come with my Daddy?" Dave asked Sarah, who was taken aback by the question.
"No, I didn't come with your daddy, but you will meet him soon," Sarah said to Dave, who turned his gaze towards Amelia, waiting for her confirmation.
"She's right, Dave; you will meet him very soon. He's a little bit busy; that's why he didn't come to pick us up," Amelia explained to Dave with a reassuring tone.
"You guys must really be tired. Let's go home so that you guys can get some rest, and afterwards we can discuss other things," Sarah said to Amelia and Dave before taking her luggage from her and leading them to her car.
Getting to the parking lot Amelia opened the car and helped Dave into the backseat while Sarah was putting the luggage inside the car's trunk.
As Sarah was about to enter the car, she remembered something and sighed heavily.
"Sarah, take Dave back home with you. I will join you guys later; I need to go and check out the apartment in which we will stay till the end of the competition. The real estate agent will already be waiting for me," Amelia explained to Sarah, who nodded in reply, and with that, Amelia.
"Mummy, where are you going?" Dave asked Amelia, seeing that she wasn't following him back home.
"I want to go and check out the new apartment where we will be staying for the meantime, so Aunty Sarah will take you to her house. I will be back in less than an hour, okay?" Amelia asked Dave, who nodded in reply, and with that, she patted him on the head before getting down from the car and walking to the roadside, where she took a taxi.
Meanwhile, in the Williams Villa, Teresa Edward's mother was busy discussing with a young lady named Naomi when Edward walked into the sitting room, his face cold as usual.
"Good afternoon, young master."
"Good afternoon, young master."
The maids who were around kept on greeting him while bowing their heads in respect, but he ignored all of them and walked towards his mother, who was sitting on the sofa.
"Good afternoon Mr. Edward," Naomie greeted him as he got closer and with that he looked at her with a cold gaze before turning his gaze towards his mother ignoring Naomi's greetings.
"Edward, didn't you hear her greeting you?" Teresa, who was already fed up with her son's cold attitude, asked him, her voice raising in anger.
"Mum, you called for me," Edward said to her while pretending as if he didn't hear the question she had asked him.
After staring at him for some minutes, Teresa shook her head in disbelief before heaving a sigh.
"Please have a seat," Teresa said to him, and with that, Edward sat down beside her.
"This is Naomi, the only daughter of the Yates family. Since you didn't agree to go to any of the blind dates I arranged for you, I decided to choose someone for you then," Teresa said to Edward, who turned his gaze towards Naomi, who was grinning ear to ear, and with that he scoffed inwardly.
"Hope you told her that I'm already married, or does Mr. Yates want his daughter to be a mistress?" Edward asked his mother before turning his gaze towards Naomi, who was no longer smiling.
"Come on, Edward, I thought we had talked about this. It's been five years, for crying out loud; Amelia is never coming back, so sign the divorce papers she gave you and move on," Teresa yelled angrily at Edward, who was staring at her as if he wasn't the one who was talking to her.
"Who knows, maybe she has already gotten married to another man and is already having children with him while you are here waiting for her to come back," Teresa said to Edward, who banged his fist angrily on the table, causing both her and Naomi to tremble in fear.
"And so what, Mum? If I remember well, you were the one who kept on pressuring me over and over again to get married to her, and what happened when I did? She vanished the same day, leaving no trace behind, and now you want me to get married to someone else?" Edward asked her with a scoff.
"And whose fault is it that she left on the wedding day? You left her on the altar, Edward. Who does that to his newly wedded wife? If I were in her shoes, I would have done the same thing," Teresa thundered angrily at Edward, who was still looking at her with a cold gaze.
"Mum, you know well that I never wanted that marriage; you forced me into it, so whatever I did that day was out of anger and not knowingly, and if Amelia is already married to someone else, then I will stay single forever; after all, that had been my initial plan before you forced me into a marriage that I never wanted," Edward said to his mother before standing up.
"Never, Edward," Teresa yelled angrily at Edward.
"You are my only son, and you will never remain single forever as long as I'm alive. No one in the Williams family has died single, and you won't be the first. If your father had remained single, would I have given birth to you?" Teresa yelled angrily at Edward, who sighed heavily before tucking his two hands into his pocket.
"Mum, if you don't have anything else to talk about except this, then I will be taking my leave. I have many other things to take care of," Edward said to his mother before turning and walking away, not minding her angry glare.
"You stubborn child, don't you dare walk out on me," Teresa yelled angrily as she picked up the cup on the table and threw it at Edward.
Despite being hit by the cup, Edward didn't even stop to look back; instead, he kept on walking away as if nothing had happened until he was out of sight.
"Don't worry, my dear, he is going to get married to you whether he likes it or not, okay?" Teresa said to Naomi, who nodded in reply.
Getting outside, Edward's driver quickly opened the door of the car for him, and with that, he got inside, and at the same time, his phone started ringing.
Checking the caller ID, he picked up the call and placed the phone on his ear and commanded with a hoarse tone, "Speak."
"She's back," the voice of the caller sounded from the other end.
"Who is back?" Edward asked with a furrowed brow.
"Your wife, she was spotted at the airport an hour ago," the caller said to Edward.
"Nice job. Hope you had her followed?" Edward asked through the phone.
"Yes, Boss, we had her followed," the caller said to Edward through the phone.
"That's good; send me her current location right away," Edward said to him.
"Okay, boss," the caller said to Edward before hanging up, and just some minutes later, the location was sent to him.
"Take me to this location," Edward said to the driver as he showed him the location.
"Right away, sir," the
driver said to him before reversing the car and following the location Edward showed him.

"No, Dad, I'm not going to do it. I’m not going to marry Mira’s fiancé," Amelia yelled angrily, her voice breaking with a mixture of frustration and helplessness."Lia, can you for once stop being selfish?" Richard’s voice was cold, indifferent. "You know how much this marriage means to us. Your sister is nowhere to be found, and we can't afford to offend the Williams family. The only solution now is for you to take her place and marry him. Do you want the company to go bankrupt?"
