Dinner invitation

Noel Corporation, Los Angeles.

"What's the schedule for today, Lucy?" Daniel Noel asked me as I walked into his room.

"This afternoon you have a scheduled meeting with Mr. Oliver Milles, then later today there will be a visit from one of our investors from Norway, Mr. Tobias Hakon,” I explained flatly.

"Tobias Hakon? That arrogant investor?" Daniel asked with narrowed eyes.

"Yes, Siir," I replied, a short, expressionless reply.

"Do you have a reason so I can avoid it?" He asked with a reluctant expression, because I could tell he didn't like that perverted investor.

"No, Sir, if you refuse to meet he will threaten you by refusing to cooperate with this company as he did a few months ago," I replied seriously.

"Tsk, you know I'm not afraid of a threat, Lucy. I only considered him because he is an investor who has worked with Noel Corp for a long time. The rest I don't like with all his actions. "I have good news, Mr. Done. How about you?" I asked back.

"It's amazing, especially when I come back to Los Angeles. The beautiful scenery spoils my eyes,” Kenneth answered with a seductive smile, just like his boss Tobias Hakon who tends to be flirtatious with the opposite sex that catches his eye. They were indeed two couples who probably had the same character.

"Hopefully you and Mr. Tobias Hakon will enjoy being here, Mr. Done," I said trying to be polite.

"Okay, Mr. Done, I beg your pardon," I continued.

"Wait, Miss. Watts! I'm here to see you because I want to convey a message from Mr. Hakon if he wants to invite you to dinner tonight, and I hope you won't turn it down this time, Miss. Because it will really disappoint him later,” Kenneth said seriously, this time his words sounded a little threatening to me.

"Dinner? Sorry, Mr. Hakon, it seems I can't because today I'm very busy," I said firmly.

That night, finally, reluctantly, I agreed to Tobias Hakon's invitation, a pervert who is more accurately called a casanova. After arriving at the restaurant I was headed for, I walked to a seat where Tobias Hakon was already waiting for me there.

"Good evening, Miss. Watts. How beautiful you look tonight in your black dress. I don't think it's a waste of my precious time to wait for a woman as beautiful and elegant as you," said the sand-blond haired man.

Tobias Hakon is a man who is probably the same age as Daniel Noel, around thirties. Physically, the appearance of the man in front of me actually has a pretty attractive face, but his frontal and even vulgar style of speech makes him a bad grade in my eyes.

"Does Daniel Noel know about our dinner, Miss?" he asked.

"No, Sir. I haven't told you because today he is quite busy with a pretty busy schedule," I replied.

"Oh, that's good. It would be better if Daniel didn't need to know, wouldn't it be better that way?" He said with a naughty look at me, I just replied with a flat smile without expression.

"Sorry in advance Mr. Hakon. I refuse you because I still clearly remember my status which is only an ordinary employee at Noel Corporation, so I only do what is my duty, the rest is not my authority, Sir," I said trying to clarify what my purpose was in coming here to meet him.
