It took quite a while for my blushing to calm down after the whole fiasco that had happened in his house and he bandaged the cut I had incurred on myself.

"We should go" he said as soon as he finished, and I nodded, forgetting the fact that I had made him some pancakes with sugary sauce.

"Oh right, I did..."

He walked up to the plate of pancakes that were probably already cold before I could complete my sentence and picked up one, "Let's go."

We walked out to his car where he got in the driver's seat and I hesitated, afraid that he might drive carelessly the way he had done the other time.

He popped his head out of the window, "get in, I'm not going to drive too fast."

I got in, anyway, not like I had a choice, and he started the car after finishing the pancake.

That was surprising because I thought he would have complained or something.
