We were back in New York the next day, Kendall hounding me for everything that happened even though I had kept her updated throughout most of my travel, and there was my application, which I needed to get started on.

I started my internship at the company, people murmuring and all because they felt like I had only gotten the position due to my dating the CEO, which was true, but I proved myself pretty soon with my good ideas.
